Loaner Gear for New Player?

Hello!

I'll be bringing a new player to his first event on the 23rd, but unfortunately I lack gear for him to borrow. He will be trying out fighter, and is looking at trying out sword and board. If anyone has gear available to borrow for the Sept 23rd event, please let me know, it would be much appreciated!

Unfortunately I'm coming in a carpool that's already going to be packed a bit tight, but hopefully some of the more local players can loan out an extra weapon. If nothing else, monster camp is usually willing to loan out a couple weapons for a new player, but it's a lot easier on the chapter staff if the new player can provide their own weapons or if they can borrow from another player.

How is he outfitted for armor, since he's playing a fighter? I don't have an extra suit of chainmail or anything like that, but I have some smaller armor pieces I could probably pack in - a chainmail coif, a pair of bracers, some other junk like that.
 
Can't help out as I don't have a spare board, Might have a spare sword, but you know how heavy my gear is.

I will bring Aramis old armor. It got me over 15 points and the is all I need as a scholar so it maybe more than that. Not much but it's something. I think it count for 1 or 2 point for upper arms, upper leg, lower leg, belly, chest and back. It was also got some for in genre or master craft but not 100% on that. I also had a fancy hat and heavy leather bracers that may have kick it up more.

My character often wanders off with out her sheild. So I may be able to loan it to you in character. Lol I'm friendly like that. It's a left arm orientation.

She will loan it to you as long as your are not a Stone Elf that is. Then she would need to true you first.

Thank you all for your offers! He ended up deciding he wanted to try being a scholar, but I'm very grateful to you all regardless! I cant wait to see you all this weekend!
