Over the past month, the chapter has been working on converting to the latest edition of the Alliance database software. At this time, we feel confident in saying that this process has concluded. If you have any questions specifically regarding your characters in this new database, please send requests to the logistics email as per normal.

As part of this logistics revamp, we will be instituting a few norms to make your experience with logistics more regular going forward.

Character requests and updates will now be handled on Thursday evenings. If this will change in any given week, we will make an announcement as to what day updates will occur on. Logistics will be suspended for the Thursday directly preceeding a weekend event to allow staff the maximum amount of time to prepare for events.

The chapter will be enforcing preregistration deadlines for all events going forward at this time. The preregistration process allows staff to process character requests and on-site logistics in a much faster time frame, thus allowing them to move on to writing and telling stories for you, the player base. If you would like to receive the preregistration price for an event, you will need to make sure that your preregistration is sent in no later than 11:59pm the day preregistration is scheduled to close. The process of preregistration includes sending in any spell memorization, production, goblin stamp expenditures and magic items for your character. Failure to include this information constitutes a failure to preregister.

Additionally, our shiny new database has the option for us to build a monthly list. This will allow us to apply monthly blankets to all those that want them with the push of a button, provided they have the goblin stamps to purchase it. If you would like to be on this list, please send an email with the name of the character you would like it applied to logistics@alliancesf.net, regardless of whether you have previously made this request before. Please note that this list does not allow us to alternate characters, so if you wish to change what character it is applied to, you will need to contact logistics prior to the first Thursday of the month.
