I am sorry to inform you that I believe it was entirely my fault. Ivan and I have been courting this last fortnight and we have written letter to and fro from Blythedale to Storm's End and back again. He was not planning on attending this pervious gather but changed his plans due to his desire to see me.
I shortly after recieved a letter from him which had been ripped open by a Biata messenger with tan feathers, i'm am told that mercenaries have such. I was concerned for his well being for the letter revealed that he would be traveling alone. Immediately I gathered the Stormblades to escort him, however he was not in Blythedale upon our arrival. We proceeded to the gathering and found him missing there as well.

Throughout the weekend my comrades and I fought valiantly against the Dominion and particularly Orlantha Reidic who returned his crown to us in order to taunt us and maybe coerce me into doing something foolish. So my guesses had been confirmed and we now knew that he had been taken by the Dominion.
When Duke Frost was finally able to arrive due to the distruction of a siege weapon which was inhibbiting his flight to us, I told him of the situation. Later that day we were able to capture Orlantha and i believe that Duke Frost is in the process of negotiations for his release. I have not heard any more from his lordship since them and am anxiously awaiting news of Ivan's safe deliverance.
I am very sorry Sir Daniel for the pain and trouble i have caused, I hope this news finds you well.

I pray to the earth every day for my champion's return.

In no way do I hold you responcible for the disappearance of the Baron. KNow that we will do everything in our power to get the Baron back. I wish he would have shown better judgement when setting of alone. But hind sight always makes thing clearer.

I will be in Fairdale in Oct. Please join me in being there hopefully to return the baron to our ranks.
