Wow its been a long time since ive had that much non-stop fun at a event. I had a great time playing Feng. Right now my head hurts and i cant talk, so ill be posting more later.

1 Moxie Chase, I always love playing with Amanda ( who would guess ) But Moxie is something she had been planing for a long time. Seeing the PC come to life was wonderful. Some claws from Rich and help with a back round from Eric and we were set for a nice IG feel.

Amanda is kinda shy so seeing her go crazy all weekend long around other people was great. Moxie is a great name for that Pc.

2 Mods mods mods all weekend long I think i went on one with just about everyone. The Frist Mod friday night was by far the coolest Rp/puzzle mob i had ever seen. It gave me a slight chill oog and that is not easy to do.

3 Phiz rolepaly loved the Will and Eric Show, Had a great Time scraping with a Oger warlord ( a very strong oog person i might add :) ) And maybe the funnest ig thing was when the female elder COA hit Feng in the head with a stick and yelled "NO" at him like a dog when he was marking trees with chak to see how tall he was. Moxie just pointed and laughed at him, and so did everyone there.

Ill try to post more later

My absolute favorite had to be interacting with the teddy bear construct. Entirely too cute! Especially the drumming and "singing." "Rawr!" :D

I loved how the story all came together, although the poor BBEG went down fast in the end. Paralyze for the win! I never want to get intoxicated and fight again... hitting the ground in that inflexible leather cuirass and then trying to roll out of the way isn't a very efficient fighting method. So have to learn purify and get more poison shields.

I'm very glad to be able to at least start to put faces and names together, because honestly, I know I suck at it.

So many little snippets of conversation come to mind, most of them entirely too funny. Or, you know, singing the Gummi Bears theme song in the middle of the tavern. That was good for some laughs.

Poor Larien being ganged up on by a pair of MWEs. "It's not touching if you use your tongue."

Slaying an ooze (30 slay! wee!) and having him be so happy about it he passed me the largest coin in his treasury.

Grim going toe-to-toe with a troll and winning. ;)

Worst moment?
Feeling really stupid for not managing to life Z before he dissapated. So very sorry. :(

I liked rolling with Brok. Jesse G is a lot of fun to play with.

The two dryads, Hakka and Aegierus had great costumes and I probably spent more time talking with Aegierus than any other character. I don't know how, but our characters seem to have plenty of common ground.

I liked playing merchant because it really defined my character. When I first started playing I was just an elf who shot arrows. I learned my lesson and this character came into game a bit more developed. I really liked putting life spell for 2 gold on my menu. And Saturday when I had the only life spell left in town, after announcing that it would cost 2 gold, I liked overhearing a few surprised people say stuff about me.

I liked how on Saturday I hurt the BBG enough that he commanded his minions to attack me, specifically. It's always a special feeling when the BBG points you out. Then I got away from the minions and helped chase the BBG until he had to hide in the dirt.

Being accurate with my spells. Last year, half my spells ended up in the dirt in front of the bad guys. This weekend I hit with nearly every spell.

Talking about the bakery/brothel business model.

Being involved in my first trial, or pseudo-trial since there was no magistrate.

My head's still spinning from the event.

Here are my favs:

1) Being the only biata!!! Represent!!!
2) The fish kin looking for her eggs. Then on Saturday learning that a snake kin was also looking for the same eggs but to cook them. Awesome job on the Frence accent, Amellia.
3) The trap mod. Since no one knew Ledgermain, Rupert decided to just go all "Mission Impossible" and work his way to the treasure.
4) The creepy lady in the cave. Several of us had to help a fey who was cursed with some making on her hands. We then had to figure out using a riddle which potion to drink to gain access through a magic barrier. We then met the creepy lady who gave the cure and told us to "be an example" to the rest of the adventurers. Then Castlebur decided to drink the potions which almost resulted in his death had it not been for an antidote.
5) Ooze madness. Thank goodness Argus has three Resist Commands and three Break Commands.
6) Awaking an earth elemental only to be sent on a wild goose chase near in the forest.
7) Fighting the goblins with their leader having the white hat. Seeing Hakka taking said hat and angering the goblins.
8) The chicken impersonator guild. Everyone acting like clucking chickens.
9) Fing and Moxie. What a seemingly odd duo that actually seemed to fight together well.
10) Watching as several adventurers tried to run away with the bad charms.
11) Flint being stuck in the position of being the leader as he was the only Ducal soldier. I can see him as a knight very soon.
12) Getting into a debate with Ageus as to whether the destruction of the Dominion was justified. Argus is still recovering from that event.
13) Maddness at the Original Italian Pizza during Saturday and Sunday dinner.
14) Lanna. So quiet a character yet seeing great determination to heal others.
15) The trial between Moon and Rupert. I thought that Moon one of the two would be ganked that event due to the heated argument.

Well that's it for now.

First of all thank you to all the NPCs this weekend was awesome because of you! Amelia, great job on the first event.
Now the favorites.....
1.Castlebur in Jerkin Off mode ;)
2. All things Skittle!
3. Flints amazing "leather sack".
4. Ravaging Larien :p (it is not touching if I use my tongue)

I had a great time at this event and sooo many more favorites. Thanks to everyone!

I had a great time rolling out my new character ^-^ So, lets see....

The Skittle mod friday night was awesome! Not being able to read/write makes working out puzzles that much harder when you have to have it read to you.
Crazy chicken fishbowl, you had quite a large number of people thinking that the feathers or the bread was causing them to act like chickens.
The late night mod team of Feng, Moxie, Castlebur, Spidereye, Poh'ta, Lanna(I think that was your name), and myself(Zuriel). That dungeon setup going from room to room fighting undead was awesome. And of course making the final room our "clubhouse."
Being known as crossbow guy, that phys-rep was so much fun to use it even had space to put some arrow packets in the top of it.
My first resurrection (of any of my characters) Castlebur's stories and antics were causing everyone to break into laughing throughout the whole thing.
More stuff as I think of it, but great weekend Amelia!

Amelia knocked my socks off with her directing debut. I take this weekend to mean that there are many more brilliant events where that comes from.

Spider Eye's new costume is fly and so comfortable.

It's nice to be effective at an event with only one sword. The NPCs were great sports and fought very clean.

I PC maybe once or twice a year on average, but when I do I'm always impressed by the caliber of the game.

Tuskies were en masse again, awesome.

The chicken people. Rupert extracts spidereye from the idiocy then Evie asks Flint if its alright to escort them off the premises. Spider Eye delivers.

Everyone's roleplay was simply fantastic, even in battle PCs and NPCs alike kept character and stayed immersed.

Hopping fence was a blast. Those accursed PCs stole money from a collection plate. Cads.

The late night mausoleum run. Our mod team cleaned up efficiently. With a giant crossbow. Also, lopez hit marshal in nuts. Ten minutes of tear jerking laughter ensued.

New clubhouse hidden in mausoleum. Perfect.

Until next time everybody!

Collin

Crazy chicken fishbowl, you had quite a large number of people thinking that the feathers or the bread was causing them to act like chickens.
Heheh, if ya waylay NPC's they don't have a chance to 'splain things very well, do they? I'm just sayin'... after all, I LIKE RPing a waylayee, so getting to do so 3 times in non-combat encounters in a single weekend is awesome!

Oh! I forgot to mention the staying up ALL NIGHT watching the tavern, to have it be completely justified by Trolls making an appearance around 5 a.m. Thanks Bill and Heather!

Thanks for a really unique event, with great plot, and lots of stuff to do! Thanks to all the new folks who gave the game a try! I hope you're all considering coming back and having more fun! Everybody did great!

-All the RP w/ Henry as Sir Harrison. It was a big surprise! Brought back a lot of fond memories.

-All the kooky stuff we got into with Dryad plot. Dealing with the shennanigans of Rupert and Eevie, such a good time.

-Getting to know Mike's DE and learning of the Dwarves in his lands. Go Crossroads!

-Rolling w/ Ur'sul

-Lyghten taking care of me when I was all messed up from staying up all night in the tavern watching for goons who might try to take advantage of so many unwarded adventurer dwellings. Hanging out with Art, and Trel for that was good times. Having Sir Harrison stick around was awesome too. Our town was very safe. Thanks plot for sending out the Trolls so our efforts were justified lol.

-Practicing leadership skills and getting to roleplay with the greater majority of the town as a result. It was so awesome interacting with everyone this weekend. I really enjoyed getting to know a lot of newer characters, and getting to know a lot of old friends new characters. Scott was a riot as Tugrot and Jesse G as Brok was a real fun time.

-Tim and Amanda's new characters were very fun. It was great you two, well done! Feng and Moxie are a very dynamic duo.

-Getting to PC with the Kuh's finally. You guys are the best. You bust your asses so much for us. I hope you had fun. I certainly had fun with your toons. I didn't know what to make of Castlebur, but I like him haha. Z's freakin' brutal mobile trebuchet of doom! Spidereye is a pretty rad asskicker. I hope I get the chance to get to know them all a bit better in the future.

-Grim! Someone else rolling a dwarf from Stone Hollow. Gotta get some solid stuff written for us to fret over, and for plot to make us weep over lol. Great rp w/ you bro. Very impressive man. Your costume was sick.

-Trel is really coming in to his own. Being at odds with him over the chain ornament of madness was real fun.

-Holy crap RP with Marissa as the old woman. What a great moral dilemma! I had to lie. I couldn't tell this sweet old lady she was never a Mom. Really awesome. Follow that up with telling Sir Harrison exactly what I did. You must be everywhere and always a champion, but sometimes it's best for everyone if someone who isn't an aspiring noble comforts the hysterical old woman.

-Reoccurring goodness! Emily coming out as the Grove Keeper again to say hello. It's the little things that really make for good immersion...

-Speaking of immersion...the mod I got hooked for to go in to the cellar! Amelia is such a good dwarf. If I had a request to make it would be for her to play one every time I played mine haha. We had a great little discussion before we broke up their 'party'. Warpfang was on point with waylays. Anna was smiling wide so we knew we would be okay. Awesomenesssss.

-Danielle, I really like your character. Anna is awesome and I'm glad you decided to make the trip solo to play!

-Moon and charges haha, great hobling bro!

-Toddo and Mich respectively as Agrivar and Holst. I really love rp with the authority. It made me feel like we were really getting stuff done. Thanks guys!

-Thanks Michelle for bringing that shield, that was great. Love the red and black and indestructible hehe.

-All things Amy Resele, great times hanging out with Larien. Being her voice when things became too much, and having a really great person invested in the circle. Very real rp.

-Our resident Dryad's were great too. I am really glad that they are being represented so well.

Okay so I am going to go on forever because this event was made of win and polished with badassedness. Thanks to everyone for coming out. I had fun with everybody! Thanks Amelia for being ridiculously talented and gifted and directing an effing amazing event!

See yall in September.

Justin

That sounds so fun...Makes me really sad I couldn't be there. I can't wait for September.. Any one wanna fill me in on the plot for the weekend?? PM me please i wanna know!

Angel

OK, first thing I gotta say, this being my first event PCing, is that PCing was a blast and a half. It was really different being on the winning side for a change.
With that out of the way, here are my favorites:

*Going out with Team B.O.W.L. (The Best of What's Left) at 4-5am on Sunday and turning a mausoleum into a Clubhouse. To which we immediately got furniture for and had a bitchin' Dance Party.
*KA-DOUCHE!
*Agerius the Dryad (or however his name is spelled) giving me Bananas and the resulting wall-crawling, frothing, madness that followed when I was forced to eat them at inopportune times both times.
*Chicken-people fishbowl.
*Skittles and the others on Friday night.
*Being the Refit Champ on Saturday.

I had a great time this weekend. I wasn't sure what to expect because I haven't PC'd a low level character in a long time and I've never had an alt. before so I didn't know if I'd be able to pull it off. I thought maybe it might be like the old days when I played Nathan in the late 90's and I was scared of everything, but in truth it wasn't. I know alot more of the rules these days and have a better grasp of the game and how things work as far as battles and death and whatnot. That is not to say it wasn't enjoyable, it was indeed, and not being afraid of everything was actually good because I don't think my character would have been, so it allowed me to keep a level and calculating head in battle. I was able to get behind the enemy consistently to attack which seems like a feat for a guy that is 6'2". I really enjoyed the night rain battle and got to throw myself into the fight hissing at the oozes and burning through my weapon coatings.

overall i guess the best part of the weekend was feeling like i was able to play the role of someone/thing else that what I am because Nathan is pretty much just me but a little nicer and more noble than I am. Amanda was a big help and all of the other PCs who seemed interested in my people and our culture. I put alot into this character and it felt like it paid off because i had material to work with for almost every situation.

I did not expect to be dragged into the main arc of the weekend but it was awesome. RP with the Dryads who Saradys completely reveres as forest spirits was awesome. and the entire Sun Magic plot was very interesting and engaging. Amanda and I were thrilled to be apart of it and being the only 2 elves alive who can read that language is beyond awesome.. We even kept our pieces of the Sun Magic circle.

Scott as Tugrot is hilarious, and getting Leona drunk was super funny. Scott as Scott working on the site practically 24/7 to make it better for all of us was even more awesome. He's one of the biggest reasons I play at HQ and certainly why i volunteer my time there. Nobody busts their *** more than him.

The heart charm mod was awesome. traps have returned in force to HQ and i couldn't be happier. this mod was well written, well balanced, and could have been done by any group of adventurers with various skill sets.

All the battles this weekend seemed well scaled. the town had to fight hard to survive, there were a few times where we were down to no life spells and things could have gone alot worse than they did.

Logistics had lots of volunteers, and very little work to do. It seemed easy and fun and I am glad my first time running it solo went that well.

loved hearing all the wisecracks about nathan and the mages guild when i couldn't say anything about it. so hard to keep a straight face.

Mimes are funny.

Chicken people are also funny

teddy bear golems are the funniest.

drum drum drum rawr!

one of the best events of the year. I'd give this one an A.

Brain malfunction...

Forgot to mention the dramatic killing blows that Robb delivered. I dig your secondary bro. I liked our mini drum session heh.

*The day after Leona got super drunk and hilarious in the tavern.*
Robb-"Oh no...its all over. You heard them. The oozes are a hive mind. They were in town and overheard everything. They all know now."
Leona-"What?"
Robb-"They know your a lush, they will send wave after wave of slimes to intoxicate you. We are doomed!"
*At this point everyone is laughing hard and Leona is punching him in the arm.*

I liked how the PC reaction to the "pet" ooze morphed from "oh my, well hello! Welcome to town! Let's talk all about what you are overhearing from the ooze hive mind while we relax here in the tavern," to fairly dangerous readiness to kill as it became obvious there was little information to be gleaned. The glint of steel behind their eyes was almost visible as we scurried out of town. Very fun! :D

PCing as Castlebur Fizzlebeaf again for starters and having people remember who i was

Late night mod with team B.O.W.L. (best of whats left) and coming back from that to find Goblins attacking us, Moxie killing one of them as they ran by and then Feng and Castlebur two person honor combat

Castlebur's Jerkin off mode

Being almost at level cap for the lowbie is always an awesome feeling

Aiding in Zuriel's resurrection and making everyone Break in laughter with the stories and antics of Castlebur

Drawing on Zuriel after Spidereye waylaid him during the Chicken person fishbowl

Being my groups treasure magnet.....for some reason every time I PC I double my groups treasury

Wow, just wow. this has to be one of, if not THE favorate PC event ive had. i was really relluctent about playing this charicter at first because i didnt know what kind of personality id give her untill the drive up and i was hoping i didnt get my *** kicked over it (so far so good). however, i had so much fun getting to play out the other side of me most people dont get to see, and i think a lot of people were suprised lol. ok but onto the many, many favorates....

* going down to the woods loop to fight goblins then finding out ahead of time there wasnt much i could do sience the area they were fighting in had mint growing. so i went down to watch over Feng and managed to keep myself ocupied by (literally) trying to catch the fish in the streem... that was funny, no luck tho :(

* All things Teaddy bear. running down a field then up a field then doing jumping jacks to wave at Mr. snuggles and trying to not show how tired out of game i really was lol

* Role playing with Tim... "Moxie, Feng am gunna be super super mad at u if u eat em fish eggs, me mean it moxie DONT DO IT!..." lmao ALSO, LOTS of very heartfelt roleplaying when something happened to her "little brother" and she had no idea what to do to make him better.

* All things stupid-o-clock crypt mod. every room had something funny or cool happen in it. the look on emily's face (the old women cript keeper) when we got to the last room and said "well good news and bad news. good news is u wont have any more problems with undead making noise in here, bad news is we decided this is going to be our new clubhouse so it might still be noisy" and then EVERYONE start dancing where they stood in a circle arround her lmao

*Friday's mod with the creapy black sperit who didnt like noise or rucus. moxie couldnt keep feng quiet so she asked him what 10 + 8 was and it took him nearly the whole mod to figure it out (by asking someone) lol

* Saturday when half the town was standing outside and 2 goblins appeared with chest pieces. when some adventures started walking toward them they took off running down the field towards the forest trail. moxie saw that and guned it afer them (from the top of town), passed everyone (hearing feng say oh they shouldnt have run from moxie), and made it first to the tree line, intending to keep going to capture them but someone stoped her saying its a trap. :D

* All things Drunk Leona and Feng's attempt at wooing her lmao

* the crazy awsome last wave battle. i like when things turn shitty for the PCs (even if i am one) then turn out ok. verry funny idea to have intoxicates thrown too (a.k.a Flint durring the fight  )

* the late night hobgoblin "fight" one of the hobgoblins was dared to run past me cuz he was cocky as **** so he did and instantly got killed lmao, easiest silver coin moxie ever made.

* When Hukka stole the goblin hat in the wave battle lmao

* Scot's oger (i think Tugrot, correct me if im wrong) and his tavern dance

* The Funny face/ stare down between Tugrot and Moxie. at one point he got up stood about 2ft from moxie looked down at her and made and angry oger face. at that moxie jumped up looked up at him and said "i can take you!" :D

* running arround the field durring all the fights and ppl saying wow, she really is fast lol (well i wouldnt have made a cheetah sarr if i wasnt lol)

* i also liked how by sunday afternoon almost everyone seemed to know who moxie was. ive played Leara for years and kno one knows her. it was really nice to walk in the room and always have someone saying my name.

* oh, at the END of one of our mods as we were all leaving the dwarf in our group decided to drink the bottles that we had determined earlier were wine (versus the other poisons). however, because the bottle contents constently change he was poisened and died. lol good thing that sperit decided it liked us after we gave it a plate.

* DROPED BABBIES!!! & BAD MAMA!!! lol u had to be there....

* the longest hold ever song lol

* All things amiela and amielas mom (sharron i think?...) the blue ooze in the last fight sharron played was sooo funny. when i saw Mr. snuggles fighting the mindless blue ooze i lost it! its a good thing my busting out laughing at random stuff fits my charicter lol. Amiela this weekend was soooo good i love what you wrote , i love the charicters you played, u just did an awsome job and i cant wait to go to YOUR next event.

i had a lot of fun, there is more i can say but the page is already too long lol. i loved how there were lots of mods, lots of crunchies, and lots of roleplay. there was always something to do and this was the first event i was actually too busy and had to pull out of some mods to give others a chance. it was great. keep up the good work guys. oh and one more thing...

THANK YOU NPCs!!!!

Oh christ, I forgot about the hold song. That made me so happy.
