Meditate and Riposting Blow

Lurin

Duke
If I parry a blow, then pop a Riposting Blow but my 500 body eviscerate is missed, can I meditate that Riposting blow back (obviously not the parry) Since riposting blow doesn't expend the targeted skill I think you can meditate it back because the swung blow failed to hit, but I wanted to be sure.

Thanks!

Solution
As defined on pg 68 of ARB 2.1.1
“Riposting Blow*
Martial
Daily
Meditatable
Prereq: Weapon Skill, 1 per 60 Martial XP, 1 per 60 Stealth XP
This skill allows the character, after using any Dodge, Parry, or Evade skill, to immediately make a single weapon attack, which ignores positioning requirements. Any offensive skills or spells used from memory during this attack are not expended but must have at least a single use available at the time of Riposting Blow, but Rituals used during this attack are expended.”

Reposting blow is listed as a meditatable skill and can be meditated as it did not succeed in the condition of making a single weapon attack, or ignoring a weapon positioning requirement.
