More weapons cores

yep, i am ordering some more cores. anyone wanna place an order with me to save on cost and shipping? i am at the discount threshold for 75in 505 OD cores, 65in 745 OD cores, and 54.5in 505 OD cores

2 longswords can be made from 75 in, and 2 shorts can be made from 54.5in cores, and i personally like the 745 in cores for most of my weapons, so i like to make a long and a short from it as well as polearms, or a 2 hander+dagger.

I ramble, but i can divide the cores into halves cause i can always use the other half if only a long or a short is wanted.

.745 65in = $13
.505 75in = $10
.505 54.5in = $7

divide in half for half a core

According to my weapon knowledge length knowledge and the weapon rules, making 2 short swords/blunts from 54.5" of core would make them slightly longer than maximum length for short weapon.

Um, ya, but that doesn;t mean you can;t make 2 short swords from a core that length....

Eh, true. (600th post!)

But adam, put me in for 2 hander length core.

Nathan,

I take it a 54.5?

Alexander,

good point, but if one is 28in without a waylay tip, and one is 27in it can have a waylay tip.

actually a 65in, 745. since 2 handers can be 62"
Also if you could get the foam to go with it that;d be awesome.
(I plan on making Kendra/Courtney's sword)

i dont wanna think, i need to make a long ax and a dagger.

hey adam,
please put me in for 1 x .505 75" and 2 x .505 54.5" please and thank you!

Also, where are you picking up your foam? If you're willing to make a decent investment for making long weapons you can get the price per peice way down from that

i've picked it up locally on occasion as well at much less that 6 a piece.

6 dollars is a bit of an exaggeration, the pieces that i bought were 4.32, and 3.95, 6.25% tax bring it up to 4.50 and 4.19 but i never pay attention to shipping costs, so i rounded up a bit. if it turns out that for 20 or so pieces the shipping is 6 bucks, i'll reduce it to a more appropriate number. same with the cores.

so i ordered an extra 54.5 core (Andrea, that's what i ordered for you though it is going to be a little more core than you need), so we get the price break. with tax, the cores themselves are 5.32

75in is 8.50 without tax, with tax it is 9.04

65in cores are 11.68 with tax, so the price will generally probably come down a dollar

Adam, if you could put me down for two .745 cores I would be grateful.

Order is made, due to the size of some of the cores the shipping charges will be determined tomorrow. i will post updates when i get the charge. however people wanna get their cores just let me know. I will tell each person what they owe individually.

Adam,

What material are these cores made out of?
