*NEW* Magic Item Battle Boards

Greetings All,

For those of you with magic items, we are now offering a battle board in Microsoft XL format that you can fill out and submit with your Pre-Logistics.

Use of the Battle Board is highly recommended for Teams as there are multiple "items" per page and they can be cut up to be distributed to your team members. However, anyone may use this. (We actually want EVERYONE to battle board their items, if possible!)

Using the Battle Boards will save tons of time and paper in logistics as well as keeping us Logistics Peeps a tad more sane!

All you need do is list the item #, effects and "O" for however many times you have the skill per day. At logistics we will match the yellow magic item tag to the battle board and will sign off on the board. And you're good to go. No more tags! Woot.

Alliance NH accepts tags from other chapters so all 'Times Ever' items should already have tags and will therefore not be needed for the battle boards. Those items will still need to be checked and verified by logistics however!

And remember to request your blank copy soon! The idea is that you can save it, update it between events and re-send it with your next logistics. I.E., much less tracking on your part as well.

while i think the idea is interesting and understand
your desire to save time and paper,
this is still going to result in many tiny bb's instead of
skill/spell ones per character card
as many teams do not distribute items untill
day of event
i just dont see that there is no way to change the fact tags are still needed
although can and should be recycled
 
i saw that part, had hoped id be able to editbefore some one commented oh well anyway,
what about items that have only 1 times per day
are these new item "battle boards" orginal tag sized
or are they standard microsoft excel chart sized?
if so then thats a tiny slip of paper thats easy to loose
plus what if teams dont have time to do this? are they jus S.O.L?

I can't imagine they'd be any smaller than a regular tag, so not much would change. Maybe if we hole-punch them, they can just stay on our tag rings.

I'd imagine they can still be logisted in the same way they always have, too.
 
Hey Rachel,

Assuming you've seen them by now but to clarify for everyone else, the mini BB's are bigger than normal tags so they are not any more apt to be lost. Thought that's on you the player, not us Logistics.

Additionally, these are not *required* to be used. This is intended as a Benefit to the player as most people are tired of holding a bunch of tags for each item.

You do not need to utilize these battleboards but they are Highly Recommended for teams logisting a ton of items.

And yes, they can be cut up and distributed.

You can also keep the file in between events, update it at will and resend it with your next pre-logistics request so there is minimal emailing that needs to be done in terms of listing every item you have/need for every event.
