New to Alliance

I am new to Alliance but I am a old time LARPer, I have been LARPing for about 10 + years now. I will be attending the Spring 2009 season of this chapter and I am very interested in meeting new people. I am completely new to this system and was wondering if their was anyone in the NH seacoast area that would like to meet for lunch or something so I can get a bit acquainted with the game.

Thanks ahead of time;

Patrick,

I don't live near that area, but I can assure you that we are friendly bunch, and we're always looking forward to new players, particularly ones with some old school experience with LARPing.

Welcome!

Gary

Pat,

Unlike you, I am complete LARP-noob. I am hoping to take my friend to the April event so that I at least know someone there when I show up. But from everything I can tell so far, it seems like the fine folks of Deadlands are very welcoming and accomodating to us newcomers so I think our biggest problem might be trying to remember everyone's name by the end of the weekend.

Will you be attending the April event too? Will you be NPCing or PCing?

BTW, I am from the Seacoast too. ;)

Patrick,

I currently live in CT, and am not available for a lunch meeting in NH to discuss the game. HOWEVER, you can feel free to email me, or we can set up a time to have an online chat or something.

Thank you Gary I hope too meet you at the upcoming game.

Dangles I plan on Playing for the spring one event, I would love to bring a friend with me but that happens to be a cross over for two other events that I used to play. I would be lucky to drag my friends to a game up here but they are pretty dedicated to the their overpowered, poorly run games.

Also a friend of mine runs a Spar night in Haverhill, every Thursday night, so if you would like to join please leave me a message and ill send you the information on how to get their.

Thanks again

Hey, Pat.

I'm having a bit of the same predicament with my buddy, but I still got two weeks to convince him and I am hoping I can break him by then, lol.

BTW, sent ya a PM.

Peace!

Welcome!

Jaimi here and I am on Deadlands Staff. Unfortunately I don't live in the area, but I recommend buying the rulebook. It has all the info you'll need for the Alliance chapters, and the local flavor of our game is easy to grasp once you've played a bit.

Feel free to email with any questions or continue posting here and we would be happy to help.

Look forward to meeting you!

~Jaimi

Also on the Rules forum there is a link for a $5 download of the book. cheep and can give you an initial idea of what things are like. :)
