Lot #13 (of 18): (General) Spell Swap

This ritual is cast on a Spellbook. Be aware, there are 2 of these scrolls up for auction, in separate lots.

Honestly, this is my favorite kind of ritual. You know how those scholars that spent years of their life studying the secrets of High Magics can shift the spells they have memorized on a whim? Well friends, you don't need all that stress. With this ritual and a minute of concentration on a spellbook, you can do the same thing while also having that time to pursue strange hobbies like going outside and meeting new people. Get your bids in now, and skip having to forget what natural light feels like!

Or, y'know, just bid on this ritual to be more ridiculous of a scholar than you already were...

WINNING BID: 9 gold to Morriden
Alternate: Esth on behalf of the Red Thorn Tribe, for 8 cows

  • All lots on auction are ritual scrolls - not the resulting items
  • All bids are binding - no retractions. (Be careful if you bid on multiple lots)
  • If the winner of a bid is not present or unable to pay by the deadline, that person will be mocked and the person with the 2nd highest will be given an opportunity to pay the amount they bid for the scroll. If they are unable/unwilling, the scroll will be considered loot for the new gather. (No one wants this, it sucks, don't be "that guy")
  • Invalid bids (such as bids from adventurers who were not present at the last gather) will be reversed, with the "current bid" being reset to the last resolution of conflict between valid bids

Lavina, do you have Spell Swaps currently? Is this for a current project, or stockpiling for the future?

I don't currently. I have some high magic but I prefer to use it for defenses. Slowly branching into this extra stuff.
