NPCing the October Event?

Hi my name is Felipe, and I am compleatly new to LARPing, however I read that one of the best ways to begin to understand the game, (besides reading the rules) is to participate as an NPC. I would love to help out in this event, although I am wondering if it is possible that I could only participate the Sunday of this event? Also for purpeses of NPCing do I need to provide my own costume?

Thank You in advance

First of all:

Welcome, Felipe!

Secondly, you can just come an NPC on Sunday, but I would suggest getting to the site early as the game usually ends in the early afternoon. You do not need any costuming to NPC. Just wear basic black clothing (no jeans, but sweatpants are okay). We have a huge room filled with costumes and the Monster Marshall will assist you in making sure you have the right costume for whatever monster or person you play.

All that being said, you really should try to participate for the whole event as you will only be getting a small taste of the game by coming for just Sunday.

It turns out I wont be able to make it in the end, relatives are arriving that day and I get to go pick them up at the airport. I'll probably sign on for the full weekend of the next one though.

Thanks for awnsering my questions

I have missed my Tab. **hugs**

Maria and I had planned on NPCing. Now, with the possibility of snow on our 4 hour drive (added to real-life issues) we just feel too stressed to make it this time. It's a shame since it's the season closer. Just relaxing for the weekend will do us some good though.

Hope everyone has a good time. We look forward to hearing about the awesomeness.

Anyone who reads this, please pass it on to anyone wondering about our absence. I'm not sending e-mails since those I would be contacting are, most likely, already on site or en route.
