OOG: The following things have been observed in and around town
1. Since October there has been a larger in flux of new faces traveling through town. Word has it that many of the folks were staying in the flop house or came in on ships in early October and seem to be having difficulty sailing back to Taneryn. Some seem to be helping out around town, but most just seem to be checking the place out, stopping by for a drink, or looking for work or goods to purchase.
2. The weather this season has been a little more drastic then last year. The rain has been harder, the nights have begun seeming darker, and the wind has been howling for a few weeks with little resolve, especially at night. Sometimes you even swear you hear voices among the noisy gusts. No major damage has occurred yet, but some of the locals have been seen around town fortifying windows, repairing fences and clearing branches.
3. Over the past couple of weeks you have been noticing a significant and progressive increase in large black birds. At first they seemed to be fairly benign, circling town and perched in the trees, but lately they seem to be getting braver, coming closer, showing up in larger flocks (30 to 100) and have begun causing havoc among the farmer’s fields.
4. This past Friday morning, an earth circle is observed in the front right corner of the tavern. No one seems to know where it came from or exactly when in the night it appeared. At that same time the earth circle in the Adventurers Quarters appears to have disappeared without report or notice. This observation is made for about 2 hours, at which point the circle in the tavern vanishes without a trace and the circle in the Adventurer’s Quarters seems to slowly fade back into existence. A similar occurrence happens again late on Sunday (12/4).
