October Event Meal

Thank you again, Barb and Sean, for keeping us fed!

A few things of note on the food side of things:

  1. when someone is setting out pans and things for prepping food, please don't take them.
  2. just because you paid for food does not mean you paid for clean-up service. Sean and Barbara were volunteering their time and energy to making sure people who paid in were fed, nothing more.
    • the big machine in the corner is a sanitizer, not a dishwasher. You need to actually scrape and scrub your plates with soap and water before they go in there.
  3. At the end of the event after everyone had left, there were some smoked sausages, two cases of soda, two dozen eggs, blocks of cheese, a pack of tortillas, a yangload of milk, an entire tray of noodles (NPC food, I think) and a number of other things left in the fridge. I think everyone (staff included) needs to keep on top of the fridge clean-out.

I'd rather this not become a big thing. The event was great fun to run, people seemed to have a great time playing, and overall stuff was good. We just need to sharpen up a bit on the kitchen stuff. If it looks like it will be a problem again, we may institute some blocks of time where the kitchen (not the pantry and fridges) will be off-limits to everyone not cooking for meal plan stuff, but I'd rather avoid it.
