Thank you again, Barb and Sean, for keeping us fed!
A few things of note on the food side of things:
I'd rather this not become a big thing. The event was great fun to run, people seemed to have a great time playing, and overall stuff was good. We just need to sharpen up a bit on the kitchen stuff. If it looks like it will be a problem again, we may institute some blocks of time where the kitchen (not the pantry and fridges) will be off-limits to everyone not cooking for meal plan stuff, but I'd rather avoid it.
A few things of note on the food side of things:
- when someone is setting out pans and things for prepping food, please don't take them.
- just because you paid for food does not mean you paid for clean-up service. Sean and Barbara were volunteering their time and energy to making sure people who paid in were fed, nothing more.
- the big machine in the corner is a sanitizer, not a dishwasher. You need to actually scrape and scrub your plates with soap and water before they go in there.
- At the end of the event after everyone had left, there were some smoked sausages, two cases of soda, two dozen eggs, blocks of cheese, a pack of tortillas, a yangload of milk, an entire tray of noodles (NPC food, I think) and a number of other things left in the fridge. I think everyone (staff included) needs to keep on top of the fridge clean-out.
