Ode to those who recently passed.

Two mighty defenders are struck from the sky
In an instant their gone in the blink of an eye
If you listen close you'll hear the town’s folk cry
Oh look away.

My head is heavy their bodies are bruised
Our spirits shattered when we heard the news
The chorus is singing it's final tune
Oh look away

We're into the mountains we shouted on high
We sang to the lords in an answer reply
What was once is lost yet never could die
Oh look away.

Rest well friends, for we stand and defend what good is left, with your memory close to heart and you are dearly missed.

Plagiarist.

Guilty as charged. While at a loss for words myself, I thought I would share someone else's.
In my haste I forgot to include that I did not write this.

How would know? Aren't you illiterate, like most of our slaves.

Another mortal has died? Such a shame.

Join us Thunderbringer, and we'll wrap you in enough iron to make sure you're well protected.

His strength will be missed...

When towering strength and gentle eyes
When meet with true friendship's guise
When falls an oak of truest kind
When dies the song within my mind
When in the darkness of mighty foe
When bravest heroes turned to go
When left upon the blood soaked floor
When undead sought to bar the door
When friend to evil turned for aide
When with oak's form to shadow's fade
When they bore him home the law was faced
When safe within his family's place
When truest friend on bended knee
When faced wtih death his punishment be
When memory of our fallen friend
When stinging tears seem to not end
When those who mourn can mourn no more
Then justice knocks on the enemy's door.

Nobility is not worn in garments of splendor
Nobility is worn upon the heart
It is found not in words but in actions
Actions that hold those words captive like the roots of a mighty tree.

Our teacher will be missed
His death will not be in vain

Draugr,

I will not trade insults with you in a place where people are mourning a fallen friend.

You and I will meet again soon enough, and next time I will not be too exhausted from previous conflicts to send you back to your bottle the hard way.
