As Parson's Breach faded over the hill and the sun sank below the horizon, Tal paused a moment to look back and pull a folded letter from his backpack and looked at the writing in Biata upon the paper. He had spent half the night thinking and rewriting the letters a dozen times, but it needed to be done no matter the cost to the small town in the distance. Placing it on a stump beside the road side and putting a small stone on it so it wouldnt blow away; Tal drew in a lungful of air and yelled "Ethionil - I would speak with you". As the echo's faded away, Tal looked around and then continued to walk down the road away from Parson's Breach toward his distant real home; holding 5 identical letters in his hand to be placed along the road over the next several miles.

Darkness had settled when Tal finally decided to set up his camp out of sight of the road, but with a small fire glowing in the night. Sitting before the fire warming his chilled hands he waited for something he feared and loved almost more then anything else in this land. His mind began to organize and lock his thoughts for the coming encounter and the meetings at home in the weeks to come; if he was lucky enough to live that long. He had to tell his people of the rising corruption and threat to the Biata in this small town, which could destroy every dream they had. He had to return the Riders stone to the True Stone so that he could be reunited with the the rest of his race. Finally he would need to sent word to any members of the poor deluded and corrupted biata's clan so that they could attempt to cleanse his tainted soul or destroy him as the abomination he had become. So much to do and no time to accomplish it in, if he even lived through the night if the 1st part of his plan failed.

Tal sat before the fire waiting for a possible new future for his dreams or the cold grip of death upon his neck.....
