What's different from the standard "American" Lab? I know English Cocker Spaniels are a bit larger than their American counterparts, but I've never heard of an English Lab.

EDIT: Answered my own question. "As with some other breeds, the English (typically "show" or "bench") and the American (typically "working" or "field") lines differ. Today, "English" and "American" lines exist in both the United Kingdom and in North America."

Yeah... the easiest way I can show the difference is in photos. Randall's parents have an American Chocolate Lab named Kodiak:

This is Isis' dad, Maize:

Her mom, Luna:

Maize looks more like a "football player" and Kodiak is taller and skinnier, sleek. Luna is more in between, so the females seem to get the best of both when it comes to the English variety.
