Not sure if this is even remotely true, but it's pretty much how I feel about our school system.

Wow. You know, that's not a problem indemic to Public shools. In fact, I know that my kid has challenged her teachers when they are wrong on a number of occasions. It's a matter of doing so firmly but respectfully. Still - this teacher needs to back the f off and think about it. Of course this *was* 13 years ago.

Like I said Shenanigans or not... that's very indicative of our school system and how they handle things. I've personally experienced situations like this.
