Lost most of my contacts when I just did a system update on my Droid Eris. If I had you in my contacts (or should have) please drop me a text, e-mail, PM (here or facebook). Thanks.

Droid users (particularly Eris), back-up your contacts before doing this system update. Write them down if you have to. The update brings the Eris to the current (AFAIK) version Android OS.

Droid Eris? The marketing department is at least being nerd-subtle. "For the prettiest" indeed. Were they not banking on wiki searches or do they think nobody would get the reference? I wonder if Steve Jobs is going to sue based on the apple connotations. I need to read the illuminatus trilogy again.

Did you try reloading them from the system memory? Mine wiped when I updated but then it asked me if I wanted to load data from the SD card, and lo an behold, everything was there.
