Greetings fellow travelers,

It is with unrestrained glee that I announce the return of Patrick Von Raven to the HQ plot team! Patrick is a former HQ head of plot, and was one of the primary designers of Amora Fortannis and Tar Navaria. I am personally very exited to have him on the team and know that he will be an invaluable resource and a font of awesome plot!

Holy crap. HQ is like... HQ again (no offense to all other staff, I just grew up with Patrick at HQ). Begin Manowar plot....... now.
 
In fact, if I am not mistaken, the named Fortannis and Tar Navaria came from Patrick.

Along with the Red Rage. Hail and Kill! And a lot more.

Plus he was this Duke guy for a while. (Patrick, I'm sorry I killed off Aramis in my second novel)

Funny, you should say that last bit: I'm ecstatic that they gave me back Barbarian Plot, my very first plotline back in 1997! I'm about to launch an epic Vansir ARC plotline in September--and I do mean EPIC--involving a heroic quest worthy of the Vansir spirit! One that will have a great new twist!

So, to all: if you have a Barbarian PC (even if it's not a Vansir, but an out-of-chapter one), I promise to give my all to entertain you with all the important elements that you sought when you decided on playing a Barbarian PC in the first place!

So, come to HQ, all you female and male Barbarians! The hero's journey is calling you! Feel it sing in your warrior's blood! So heed it and take up the sword and spell and, in the name of your hallowed Ancestors, ride into glory with thunderous shouts! Come and be counted amongst the heroes of old, let thy name be forever sung in ballads as a paragon of valor! Or miss it all and be found lacking and pass into the awful oblivion of a forgotten, glorious-less warrior whose heart is heavy with regrets.

So come warriors! The challenge is before you! Immortality and Victory await!
 
oh great, he is writting the plot of my mortal enemies........ well, at least i am the villian then. i will need all my guildsmen in merc gollems asap. i know we have like 3 already and another coming in october. star magic ftw.
 
Oh great there goes the neighborhood.... Former long hair freak back in hq... I think I'm retiring qgan... .lol... Congrats bro.... Can't wait for the mayhem to begin in Sept

I'm also launching a major ongoing Gypsy plotline in September as well! A gypsy was my very first--and really only long time--PC and since I never got a chance to run a gypsy plotline, I finally get the chance!'

I've designed this plotline as unconventional one, meaning that it caters specifically to the racial skills and spirit of a Gypsy PC...in other words, everything that makes up a Gypsy PC --be it the curse, their own rituals, their love of music and dance, etc-- will come to play in this new plotline! It's also designed to allow the gaje allies and friends (especially the scholarly types) of Gypsy PCs to participate.

So, you Gypsy PCs out there, come bring your bright colors, your joyous dances and irresistible songs, your passion, your curses, your knowledge of gypsy lore! They'll all be needed for an adventure that goes deep into the heart of the mystical, musical culture of the Gypsies, as something from the Romani's distant past has finally arrived in Icenia to shake things up...and it's a problem that only the Rom can solve.

So come and dance into adventure with us, starting in September!

AAHHHH, my heart! </3 I have to miss September! Will the plot be continuing, or is September in particular the big time to be there?

The plotline simply begins in September, but will be an ongoing plotline for Gypsies through the year and through the 2011 season (just like my Barbarian Plotline). I have plans to have continual Gypsy plot so long as there are interested Gypsy PCs! So, if you miss September...there's always October and next year! :)
