I've designed this plotline as unconventional one, meaning that it caters specifically to the racial skills and spirit of a Gypsy PC...in other words, everything that makes up a Gypsy PC --be it the curse, their own rituals, their love of music and dance, etc-- will come to play in this new plotline! It's also designed to allow the gaje allies and friends (especially the scholarly types) of Gypsy PCs to participate.

So, you Gypsy PCs out there, come bring your bright colors, your joyous dances and irresistible songs, your passion, your curses, your knowledge of gypsy lore! They'll all be needed for an adventure that goes deep into the heart of the mystical, musical culture of the Gypsies, as something from the Romani's distant past has finally arrived in Icenia to shake things up...and it's a problem that only the Rom can solve.

So come and dance into adventure with us, starting in September!

Well, this is but one gypsy plotline; they'll be plenty of others,long and short, coming up!

I hope ................you will be playing a new gypsy king I do miss the days when they worked as a well toned group rather then just being there. Maybe you will bring back real fear in a curse not being removed. I do miss the deadly but fun insted of the just silly they are now. Old timers know what I mean.

There are not words to say how excited you are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hay bring back lady fate [type of faye like] making deals and visions for harsh deals/favors.

Gypsies have always had, as a society, a private side, one set apart from the other races. My intent with the gypsy plot line is to recreate that exclusive side of Rom culture, and also reflect their relationship with the other races. Meaning that there will encounters/modules that will be for Rom only--"Gypsy business"--as well as encounters/modules in which their non-gypsy friends and allies can join them. The plot line will attempt to create a united gypsy front of Rom PCs--including those gypsies who don't like each other (bottom line: gypsies still have a basic connection to each other that few other races have.)

Gypsies PC's tend to be more role-players than stick jocks, so many encounters and challenges will focus on this...not to say that there won't be combat--there will be, especially for the non-Rom allies who accompany them--but I've also come with a Gypsy-centric style of combat that uses gypsy racial ability and culture.

I've been researching real world gypsy lore and I've come up with an interesting adversary.

I look forward to running the plot line. I just hope that there are gypsy PCs!

Okay, I can't resist. Re-scheduled a few obligations for September, and can now come starting Saturday evening, yaaaayyy! <3

Okay, so can I just mention here the fact that the Gypsy plot is AWESOME? Because it is AWESOME. Like, all-caps AWESOME.

I missed the rest of the season, but this announcement has me jonesing for Patrick plot. I will try my darnedest to make it in October. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I still remember meeting Patrick at my first event. I was playing Draugr of the Raven tribe. Little did I know that 11 years later I'd have a non-Barbarian Vansir and Patrick would be back in charge of the racial plot line that he initiated. Huzzah!

The barbarian plotline isn't exclusive--unless the PCs make it so--it's open to any who wish to participate. In any case, I have an unforgettable barbarian plotline spectacle planned for this coming event.
