Poison Coating Call

So, I might just be a little confused with the wording on Coatings. As it is written, if I coat a weapon with a Sleep coating, my next attack would be "Poison Sleep". However, the last sentence states that if my target does not do any body damage it will not effect them. My questions are:
1. Does this apply to all attacks with the Poison qualifier, or just Alchemy?
2. If this just applies to Alchemy coatings, do I have to let my target know that is came from Alchemy as apposed to some other source?

The call for weapon coatings is your regular weapon damage, with the effect of the weapon coating replacing that of the weapon.

If your regular call is “5 silver” and you put a sleep coating on your weapon, you’d call “poison 5 sleep” on your next swing(s) until the coating is used up.

that makes sense and it is similar to the old rules in regards to coatings.
