PRE-REG: APRIL ONE-DAY

Valentino

Newbie
The site opens at Noon on Saturday, April 20th, with game on as close to 1PM as possible. Game-off will be approximately 6PM with everyone cleaned up and out by 7PM.

Our April game is going to be heavily focused around learning the new 2.0 rules, and as such is going to be very light on plot. The goal is to have three large combats, interspersed with chances to make changes to your character card before the next fight. We want to give everyone a chance to try out new mechanics before they have to make a final decision. Narrative-wise this will be explained as “the Mists take you on an adventure” where you will be deposited onto Fortannis wherever heroes are needed most.

The event for PCs will cost $30 and NPCs $15; however, anyone who pre-registers will gain a $10 discount! This event will not include a meal, so we encourage you to bring your own snacks.

This event will take place at the following site:

Camp Sacajawea Retreat Center
5121 McAndrews Road
Apple Valley MN 55124

Our pre-reg form can be found by clicking here. Pre-registration should include needed tags, your production, magic items, and any food allergies. If you have any questions about your sheet, you can contact logistics at: logistics.alliancemn@gmail.com

You may prepay for the weekend by sending your payment over Paypal to jordanfenty@gmail.com. You should use the "Send to a Friend" option when you do this. In the notes include your name, the purpose of your payment, your character name, and the chapter the character is housed in.

Please note if you’re a first time player you should contact us so we can help with your character creation before the event.

This game will be run under the new 2.0 rules, which can be found here: https://alliancelarp.com/forum/threads/alliance-2-0-prerelease.39024/

Pre-regs are due by Monday, April 15th at midnight! You do not get the discount for registering after this point, but it is still highly encouraged by the logistics staff for you to do so!

For crafting purposes, can we use an existing workshop we have in “The Wildlands” and for future events can we bring those with or will we need to rebuy in The new lands?

For the one-day, workshops will be inaccessible, as you're being sent around the mists. Going forward starting with our May game, we will allow people to transfer their workshops into the new kingdom. It is assumed that you are packing up your workshop and bringing it with you.

Follow up quote my MI respec includes a workplace of convenience that is Mist-touched, would this be allowed to be usable for the one-day? The MI item in question comes from Chicago.

A mist-touched workplace of convenience would absolutely be useable.

Just as a heads-up, the Build, Goblin Stamps, and High Magic fields (maybe a couple others) on the pre-reg form are formatted as a short answer so it only allows a single line. For people who want to buy more than one skill or list off high magic abilities or whatever, it might be useful to change it to a paragraph field.

Also you have a question partway through asking which schools of magic someone uses, but then the form takes you through all the pages regardless. There are rules you can set in Google Forms to skip certain pages, but presumably they didn't copy over from the Chicago pre-reg form.
