Prison vs. Massive Mechanical

Per the rule book, the spell Prison will not protect someone from "massive damage", such as falling off a cliff. Is this intended to include Massive Mechanical damage, as the traps of that name?

Massive Mechanical traps do not automatically inflict damage through Prison spells. The "massive damage" statement is intended to allow leeway for a marshal at a particular scene to rule that a Prison does not protect someone from a particular action.
