Does one need to say the skill they are using, when announcing that someone should "Prepare to Die"? The examples in the book are confusing. Some show that you do, some don't. Which is it?

Does one need to say the skill they are using, when announcing that someone should "Prepare to Die"? The examples in the book are confusing. Some show that you do, some don't. Which is it?

"Prepare to Die" activates any PTD skill. If you're using a PTD skill other than Slay, you need to state what skill it is. If you look in the book, every PTD skill other than Slay states that you must state the skill immediately after the "Prepare to Die!".

This is partially a legacy of (at one time) Slay being the only PTD skill. When the others were added, the skill name was added to the PTD to let others know what you've activated.
