quick questions on weapons

first i wanna ask whats the damage for claws, i looked in the book but under the skill description it says they do base 2 damage but in weapon construction it says they do base 1 damage

another thing i was thinking about was would it work to make a thrown weapon into a throwing disk shape so you could make it fly like one and if so what would be the best way to make something like that?

Claws are intended to do base 2.

Throwing discs are not really reasonably possible under the current rules set, as the thickness may never be less than 2" wide. On the off-chance that you do make one, it'd look like a giant fat pancake, and probably wouldn't fly particularly well (due to air resistance).

A flying disk which is 18" in diameter and 3" thick (volume of 763 cubic inches) would be legal, and it would probably fly. You might want to try it out and see how it goes.

Excerpted from the Rule Book, Page 81 (from bottom of 1st column):

Rocks, Saps, and Thrown Weapons must
be soft sculpted with no core material. They
can be dagger shaped, star shaped or any other
shape. The longest dimension cannot exceed
18 inches and the smallest dimension must be
at least 3 inches in diameter.

Rocks should be round or otherwise not
look like a fashioned weapon. There cannot be
any stiff corners or small protrusions on these
weapons. Because they can be odd sizes and
shapes, they must be approved on a case-bycase
basis.

These weapons can never be used as a
melee weapon in a fight; they must be thrown.
Rocks do not require weapon tags (other
than safety tags) and cannot be gathered during
a Hold.

A rock does only 1 point of damage. This
damage cannot be modified. A rock cannot be
used to deliver weapon skills, spells, blade effects,
effects, poisons, arcane effects, ritual magic, or
monster abilities. Rocks are not considered
“weapons” for Shatter or Destroy effects.

oh and another thing about the claws is the mistake made in the weapon creation section go for length as well because the claw description it says they are short sword length but it shows in weapon creation they are dagger length.

The standing rule for claws are that they can be Short Sword length now..

Short sword length is correct. They USED to be dagger length, and that must have been missed in editing on that particular paragraph.
