Resist Element and Flame Traps

In the new rulebook, the Resist Element section states that Resist Element may be used against flame-based traps (page 63). The Traps section states that Resist Element may not be used against flame-based traps (page 143).

Is Resist Element usable to Resist flame-based traps?

The Traps section is incorrect. Resist Element may be used against Flame traps.
