An elegant leg steps through the portal, & Malithon enters Calanhelm. New knowledge gained. New questions & research to do. To begin forethwith. And a new acquaintance made. The ogress was most helpful & someone she could perhaps learn a new field of study from. Such a strange place, Parson's.
Amusing to hear of the antics of the people in Parson's Breach that she has met this winter in Calanhelm. & to think that she was only a little distance from them. All that brutish fighting & carrying on. Such discord & chaos. Feels like these "heroes" bring it with them, like stirring an ant's nest. Unfortunate to not have had a chance to converse with the duke but relieved to not have him be an issue any further.
And the King shows such interest in this region. What is that all about? Something about a sword.... Is it really that strategic a location? Does not all of the land of the kingdom on both sides of the mountain pass belong to him? Never understood machinations of nobility. Much to study.
Proceeding to her rooms, refresh & then to the Sanctum to begin her studies.
