Ryan Pelham's "Weekend Warriors"

Twice now we've had the pleasure of a photographer named Ryan Pelham come up and visit us at Caldaria and take photographs of our game, which he's put on his website and blog. They've been up at our forums for awhile, but I thought I'd swing by and share them here since it's really good work:

I don't know how many LARPs or Alliance chapters utilize the sort of blessing that comes with having people of this kind of interest and artistic talent, but I am insanely grateful for him having come by and visit. This is the sort of advertising Alliance can make use of (not to mention it's friggin' cool), and I hope we have him back again at some point. Make sure to check out Ryan's other portfolio work, too -- he does some amazing stuff. But if anyone was ever looking at hiring a photographer to come to their game, I'd seriously talk to this guy.
 
Holy crap those photos are amazing. The one of Chazz throwing the boulder? FTW! I totally have to come to Caldaria and meet the local stone elves.
 
You missed Stone Elf Knock-Knock jokes for entertainment at our tourney event. Amazing. I think there's a video of it somewhere.

The photo's are very nice. He has a great eye for composition. Especially with the guy putting makeup on in front of the mirror...Brilliant! So many things are said about Alliance with just that one photo.

We need to have more action shots of the game like the ones he has. Alot of times I see photo's of Alliance (or other LARPs), where people are just sitting or standing around doing nothing.
