Hey everyone, thanks for coming! Please - share some of your favorites, so I can enjoy the event vicariously through all of you!

For the few hours I was there, here are my favorites:

Having all of Shadow's Light at the same event for the first time in a long time.
Feeblemind fun on Saturday night - "First you get the magic, then you get the power, then you get the women", with Liddia and Pandora sitting in my lap. Hehehe.
Blowing myself up, and the look on everyone's face when I did it.
The look of relief on everyone's face when Kalin and I walked in on Saturday night.

What about you guys?
 
As always it was a fun event. Was good to be apart of the lower end mods RP wise, as I really enjoy that. So here are my favs:

and in all seriousness:

-The All-Cherry. Haven't had that much random fun on a mod in a long time. From feral woodland critters to Old Man Artea. Also making household chores sounds like GRAND quest. "You must test your courage to face a mystical creature. One whose fierceness is no easy feat to overcome. Beneath this beast, rest a white sphere that has the power to vitalize the body." aka go grab an egg from under a chicken. I almost lost it at the very end when I was explaining the 3rd task and the PCs were finally starting to realize these would keep going until they asked for the All-Cherry again.
-Epic cobweb cleaning from Kord and Faus making fun of the entire grand extermination during the entire thing.

-Trying to find the baby dragon. We couldn't find him for a good hour and when I saw him in the kitchen I thought my eyes were playing tricks and ignored it. Good to see peoples different reactions towards 2 DEs.
-Gambling dinner mod. How you guys didn't see the 11 times David cheated was priceless.
-Big Red was amazing. I loved the screams when the arms became detached.
-Marsters using the mass life. I only wish Asher could of seen that.
-Dure'hdel being Love 9'd with the Witch. His bold proclamations and roleplay were so awesome.
-Drunken Gypsies, that's some fine cider
-'Afters' was really fun again, definitely good after a Chicago event.

Lot of great moments but my favorites were...

The speculation as too what the poison witch was capable of after Paul said he and Thomas would operate it...
I believe it was agreed to have a gatling gun, I am glad it did not personally.
The poison witch was amazing looks wise and rules wise...
Erics sacrifice, what a true healer should be about...
The apple cider getting several people drunk was awesome...
The gypsy caravan mod was great.

Finally on a personal note in the quickling fight I think I healed gandian 3-4 times in 90 seconds at one point and after words thinking I might be getting a hang of this. I then got hit with a lightning bolt and decided maybe not.
 
I had a lot of fun this game- thanks to all of the npc's. You guys were great!

A few favorites:
Using my co to fix up someone in the middle of the fight with big red. "Well, let me tell you why you should be happy to be alive... with a song!" and then forgetting every tune I had memorized.
The all-cherry mod, oh my goodness, it was awesome! I am seriously OOG in love with Artea. The character performance was very well done. (PLEASE make him a reoccuring npc, pretty please with all-cherries on top!)
Getting dominated while flipping out on a character about using dominate.
The generosity of PC's to give out cure lights. I went through almost every single one I received.
Getting to use a life spell for the first time ever. I felt special. ^^
The food- it was great to have something available that we could both eat. Thanks Daphne!
Being there for 4 different PC sacrifices. It was pretty neat to see that kind of IG/OOG selflessness.

Really though there was a lot that went right this game. I can't wait for the next one!
 
Great event, folks! Thanks to everyone! Some favorites, in no order (save for the one you can probably tell is my favorite):

~ NPCing for the elk mod. I love to NPC, and just don't get to do it enough.
~ Using my Chimeric Flame life spell on Gorka in the middle of a crowd of people. I wasn't intending to show off, but I certainly did.
~ Dure'dhel getting ahold of something Gandian's been trying to get, at the same time Gandian got something Dure'dhel's been trying to get! "I'm about to make you a very happy Dure'dhel." "Well, I'm about to make you a very happy Gandian."
~ Paul: "We just thought it would be cool for you guys to drink lemon water instead of the copper water." Me: "Aah!" Gandian was spasming when he drank it, due to the Copper taste. ;)
~ POISON MONSTER! The phys-repping for that mod was absolutely FANTASTIC! The first time I saw that thing moving out of the shadow of the trees towards us was perhaps the best moment in the event. The whole mod was super fun, with Paul and Thomas using so many carriers, Chris shrieking when the monster got hurt, and Gandian getting to use his full spell set that he prepared once Eric renewed everyone (which was epic as well): "It's taking full from everything now? <insert practically chain-cast 4 lightning storms, 4 shatter body, 3 destroy body>"
~ Dure'dhel being Love 9'd to the Poison Monster. I love/hate you so much, Ryan. ;)

~ That was awesome, since Gandian just kept running at the quickling with his stone aura. Paul: "You took that lightning storm, right?" Me: "Yup." Paul: "You're not down by this point?" Me: "I was. I just got healed again. I'm at 1 body and 0 armor." Paul: "I hate you."
~ Activating my "super powerful artifact" and the petrified look on Paul's face when I did it. "Activate, Xilthrilrathonxeneration!" 'WHAT?"
~ Dure'dhel and Arkimedes popping up out of nowhere and blasting the Quickling down.
~ Tacos. My body has never loved a taco so much.
~ Having Talitha/Mariah pass out on my lap on Saturday night. Awws.
~ "Hey Tets, want to buy a Corrupt army?"
~ Dan and I being subjugated by Thud.

And probably more. :yes:
 
I had tons of fun NPCing last weekend. I'm kinda limping now, but it was totally worth it.

My favorites:
- Dure'dhel getting mad at my NPC during the quickling mod, angrily throwing his sword aside, and chucking a stone blast. . . right at the ground
- Getting dominated by Davion during the quickling mod and the antics that ensued. Davion to me "Dominate gas poison, go stand over there", Tisk to Davion "You! Do! Not! Dominate! Ever!", Davion to Tisk "Dominate gas posion, go stand over there". Well played, sir.
- The skipping goblin. I had so much fun doing that and there was no real reason to do it.
- Eric's sacrifice. So epic.
- Playing the Dark Elves looking for the baby dragon. The PCs probably should have been nicer to us. We probably coulda rolled all of em
- Seeing Andrea improve her fighting so much after like a ten minute lesson from Paul. Good job!
- Being subjugated by Enan only to be shatter spirited by the big monster right after.
- The elk mod in general. So tiring yet so fun.

I also want to thank all the guest NPCs that we had over the weekend. It was fun to play with you guys and you really took a load off the dedicated NPCs.
 
I want to thank all of you for coming and making this event epic and fun. It was amazing to see you all there. So here are my favorites:

- coming into game to be immediately told... "If you do not stop releasing these totems, we have many warriors and will come..." Yeah yeah I got you the first 12 times you said it... jeeze lol. Thanks for sitting there with me Kyrie, I would have lost it in his lack of listening.

- Getting caught up in a bunch of stuff and being locked out of my ward...

- going into the town meeting and actually being a source for information for once. You want Quickling information, I know first hand what one is like... :D

- Enan, I should have seen it coming that the more of a kin you are the better you are at controlling lycanthropic episodes.... removing the human from the equation does help some huh...

- Getting the call to run back and save the younger adventurers from a horrible Yeti. Running in and lifeing Brennan. The he tells me, let me go talk to him again i was making progress.... you being dead doesn't look like progress.

- Yeti beating me up and getting conveniently prisoned by Thud, only to be eaten and carried off to a dark corner.

- Hmmm, Pig-kin or Barbarian.... Pig-kin....

-Aftermath of becoming a pig-kin and the inadvertently making the quickling fight harder for all of us.

- Having another to make me feel welcome into his race. That is exactly how welcoming I am with people becoming Mystics willfully or against their will.

- Paul the Cumlo split personality Rp was fun, and I must remember the Copper bracelets idea.... good thing Thud came along.

- hehe, Pigs in a Blanket...

- Explaining to Dark elves that eating bacon is like honoring your fallen comrades.

- Stepping up the night before to the ritual and then going into the spirit world to find the Elk only to be sorrowed and go back the pool and then falling asleep for real on the bench, and then seeing Kyrie do the same thing in the real world.

- The quickling fight... and how every time I let my Quickling out several people jump a little.

- Sorry to how many people I beat down in that fight against my will and the few I did willingly. LOL

- A pig and a Hedgehog take a trip to the Plane of Lightning :sweat:

- The damn quickling bit of my leg...

- Poison Witch was awesome and I felt helpful even if i couldn't walk.

- The finding of a peg leg.

Thanks again to all of you for making my event so awesome and for being concerned for my well being. Thanks to Paul for jumping to my rescue and making sure that I was cared for and got all the help that I needed, He also made my event amazingly fun and enjoyable with all his hard work and effort put into the plot and inner workings. Also Thanks to Ryan and Thomas for taking the trip with me to the hospital, and Chris, Crystal and Daphne for being so accommodating after I returned to game. Thanks to Matt and everyone one else who stepped up to make sure I was going to be okay. Hope to see you all next time.
 
So it's my turn to post...Here we go!

  • "Bear"ing the barrister mod. Sorry Dave the bear jokes will keep coming.
  • Toosaru: "Stop doing that." As Eve comes back up from being knocked down.
  • Being ordered to bed as I fall asleep on the outside bench. (Darn Stone Elf...)
  • Being woken in the middle of the night with a pig snout in my face and said snout being attached to El. Then feeling like I dreamt it till I see her the next morning.
  • 4 hours of breakfast. Still not sure how I managed that.
  • Cessie (Kyrie's lost contact *cough*) hiding in the kitchen for an hour.
  • Sitting with Kyrie, Lidia, and Nova while everyone else was elk wrangling.
  • Lidia deciding we could frighten the elk from outside the spirit world.
  • Best 50 gold ever spent by 2 adventurers before the quickling mod. (50 awaken scrolls, 25 stonebolts, and 20 stone storms [think about it])
  • Being the only healer full up on spells before the quickling mod.
  • Having Paul command Vicki to kill that girl with the scrolls. ^_^
  • The quick thinking of how things went down when we lost El and Tets.
  • Keeping up with Stephen while running from Paul when we lost El and Tets.
  • Corner spellcasting around the door frame.
  • Remembering at the end about prisoning the dang quickling. That fight could have been over so much quicker if I remembered that and the null dagger. ^^*
  • Olympid Pool of Time scary lady thing.
  • Paul: "NPC's Don't forget to POP." As EVERYONE is frozen staring at the awesomeness of the prop!
  • The prop of Awesomness. (needs second mentioning.)
  • Human shield.
  • Love-9... (Oh, that barbarian harlot!) lol :funny:

When I was up and running I had a blast everyone!

I know that I am not going to remember everything but here are some highlights:
- Having all 4 order members together (at least for a little while)
- Eric's EPIC sacrifice!!!
- Being totally IC shaking my fist at the sun "early" on sat as I brushed my teeth outside, not realizing anyone was watching (stupid daystar)
- Being epic C-Cannons with Arkemedes, 2 sword and board C-casters blowing up the quickling. That was fun.
- Leading the charge with Ark out of the tavern to win the day! Battlecasters FTW!
- Being a cranky old-man (IG and OOG) :D
- Being Love-9'ed to the most beautiful and terrible creature! Behold, look how she strikes down those that oppose her, fear her beauty!
- All the shenanigans after the fight with the poison goddess :D,especially when people started cutting her apart. Thanks for that waylay, it would not have ended well... :ninja: :twisted:
- All the un"bear"able puns!!! It must have been em"bear"assing for the "Bear"aster to deal with them all, he did a good job once he got his "bear"ings. It was also awesome to "bear" witness to him shake down circles with his "bear" hands!
- I "bear"ly got away with all those "bear"y bad puns :D :D :D I hope he doesn't go into kodiak arrest! :ninja: :twisted:
- Being the DE translator for the knights attempting to avert a diplomatic mishap :D
- and so many more!!! Thanks for an awesome game!!!!! I am coming back again for October!!!!
 
I almost forgot about all the pig puns... the best part was that Steven was making them all... LOL :funny:

-Using ALL of my racial resists each day, and STILL not having near enough!
-Dealing with Rhys' frustrations about knowing how to go about hunting the elk (ahem... predator species anyone?) and having nobody listen.
-Chasing down the elk
-Dure'dhel's new love
-The poison lady! Awesome prop, awesome fight
-Fighting the Yehti
-Successfully being able to communicate auction bids!
-Killing off one of the Poison lady's arms with an eviscerate!
 
My favorites

- Werebear 'Resolution' and the puns around it, nice to return Enan to a more stable place, albeit with some new understanding.
- Resurrection, it's been to long since I've gotten to resurrect, poor Talitha trying to tell a tale.
- All things werebear Saturday night, should be interesting to see how the town reacts in the future to the new, more assertive Enan.
- Reasonable blood sugar on Monday - it really sucked to miss the super rep/mod, but it was really nice to not have to fast after an Event.
- Trading, Assembling the last bit's for my first 'big' weapon, even though it cost me a big chunk of change.
- Shaking down the circles, it was an interesting option, too bad I had to promise to save everyone regardless of their intent to sacrifice.
 
- birthday cake! And drinking with the gypsies. ..It was exactly what i needed after that long hard fight.
- entire town Love 9 extravaganza and being called a harlot ^-^ ..just cuz my sword is bigger...lol
- Big Red Mod. Everything about it.
- Hunting Boar with Tondra and Harlequin. I felt like we had good old fashioned barbaric bonding time.
- Tacos...a wonderful idea to feed all the difficult eaters.
- Eric's sacrifice...that is a true healer wow.
- lecturing Davion after he failed to kill the dark elves and got rolled...I'm surprised I wasn't killed just for watching. XD
