Silvering an enchanted weapon?

Hi,

Can an enchanted weapon (with, say, Spell Pary) be silvered afterward? Or is the item unchangeable (as I think I've seen someone mention in a thread, and which would make sense for things which are rendered indestructible [unless the silver can be shattered?]).

I'm overall trying to figure out the Dragon Stamp cost of a silvered shortsword with a 5-year Spell Parry. Feel free to move this post somewhere more appropriate, but the New Player Forums seems to not be the right place (as I discovered that my calculations were wrong due to incorrect information here viewtopic.php?f=216&t=14842 ). It looks like:
10 x 2.5 = 25: Spell Parry
(25 / 5) x 2.5 = 12.5: Shortsword (regardless of whether I already have a tag, I've found out recently - see viewtopic.php?f=216&t=14842 ).
(15 / 5) x 2.5 = 7.5: Silvering production cost (unless I can silver it after the item is created?).
5 x 2.5 = 12.5: Silvering surcharge for 25 inches of blade (unless I can silver it after the item is created?).

Total: 57 dragon stamps (or 37 quoted for nonsilvered)
I don't think this is worth 57 dragon stamps to me at this point, but if possible I could put some thought into whether I'd be willing to (1) pay 37 for a spell parry on shortsword and then (2) silver the shortsword afterward on my own.

Thanks!
Patrick

No, Once a weapon is rendered indestructible, it cannot be strengthened (Blacksmith version not ritual obviously) or silvered.
