It has always been my impression that when you are holding two weapons in one hand(shield included)that you will take any damage struck upon those items in your hand by opposing weapons. Now i was also under the impression that if you tuck your sword under your armpit in the same arm holding your shield that the same ruling of more than one weapon in your hand applies. Is the armpit not considered part of your arm/hand when it comes to this rule and you can continue to block accordingly with your shield or any other weapon that may be in that hand while holding another weapon in your armpit? Always wanted to know this.
