4) God Stats is so true. I have killed many PCs in my quest to topple the strongest creatures available, most notably my Dwarf who wanted Thor's hammer and attempted to take it by force.

This rule still made it through to 3.5, and I once DM'd a one-shot in "God Mode". Each player picked a deity as a PC and the plan was to have an adventure, but that broke in a battle of the Gods within the first mod hook, with a town full of NPCs paying the price of the PVP. Oh well, still a fun evening was had by all. :thumbsup:
 
I always thought it was silly that an elf who lives for 1,000 years could not go past a level 7 fighter, still make me chuckle to this day.
