Pre-registration is officially open for our third game, The Darkest Places! The below is accurate as of 3/6/2023 – if you have paid but not prereged, it will be reflected below once you have registered.

Camp location: 678 Lake Clark Rd Flovilla, GA 30216
Event dates: March 10th to 12th
Event Costs: (can be paid via PayPal at allianceatlantalarp@gmail.com or Venmo @allianceatlantalarp)
  • PC: $60 (Lodging and Event Fees)
  • NPC: FREE
  • Optional Food Plan: $20 (Must be paid by Friday, March 3rd 2023)
  • State Park Car Parking Pass: $5 (per vehicle)
On-site time: 6PM March 10th
Off-site time: 11AM March 12th
We are required to be completely off site by the off-site time. Please familiarize yourself with our camp cleanup policies here

Logistics: 7PM -9PM Friday evening (if you come after this time there will be instructions within the kitchen)
  • Character cards will be printed at 12PM Sunday, March 5th. Please plan to have completed your pre-registration in both the CMA (and Beta CMA if PC'ing) by this time, otherwise plan to spend longer at Logistics in the character creation line on Friday night
  • For our March event Alliance Atlanta is running the 2.1 ruleset - (https://alliancelarp.com/forum/threads/2-1-rules-update-official-december-2022-packet.42516/)
  • Bring all Armor, Weapons, and properly marked Magic items you are intending to check in
    • Please note that per our Magic Item policy Alliance Atlanta does not accept LCO items from any other chapter, and we have a 40 ritual cap per player
  • All weapons must be safety checked before use at each event
On-Site Sleeping
  • Cabins and bunks will be assigned. During pre-reg we will put you in a specific section/cabin; if you fail to pre-reg we will assign you at Logistics. Cabins are heated, and you will need to bring your own bedding (blankets, sleeping bags, pillow, etc.)
  • There are two private PC Cabins and four dormitory style bunks, DORM 1 and DORM 2 to the north of the tavern that will be marked, and will be the primary sleeping space for PCs who have not made other arrangements
Meal Plan
In addition to the planned meals provided by the meal plan various snacks will be available throughout the event at no additional cost. All meals will include a vegetarian version as well as a meat based version, however we will not be able to accommodate other dietary restrictions at this time. If you miss a meal, please speak to the kitchen staff (kindly) to see if they can put something together for you as we want no one to leave hungry!

Parking: there will be parking maps in the kitchen for everyone, please do not block-in anyone who is in a Friday leaving space. GA state parks do require a special mandatory parking fee. If you do not have proof of prior purchase for this event, an annual pass in the car, or a state decal then you will be required to purchase a pass onsite to park a vehicle throughout the event. Information on GA state park passes can be found here

Vehicle use during game on times: Vehicles may not be driven past the parking lot while game is still on for any reason other than emergency services. Prior to 9pm on Friday night and after 8am on Sunday cars may be driven on the roads only to load into and out of the cabins

Pets: No pets are allowed on site. We are a private club and not set up for the public or the care and consideration for pets or personal animals. If you have a specific service animal please reach out to Kelly and Tony via a message here or Discord to discuss

This will be Atlanta's first event running the 2.1 ruleset so pre-registration has a couple of extra steps that are important to follow!
1. Register for the event in the official CMA (db.alliancelarp.com)
2. Build a new version of your PC character within the 2.1 beta CMA: Since this event will be a 2.1 "test" event, participants are allowed to re-spend their character's XP by building a new version of their PC character within the 2.1 beta CMA (beta.alliancelarp.com). To do this, follow these steps:
A. Look up your character's race and XP total within the CMA
B. In the 2.1 beta CMA, create a new character (quick) with your characters same name (adding Test to the end – so Kira Test would be mine), race, and XP
C. If appropriate, select a primary school of magic with the set school link
D. Spend that XP on the skills you would like to try/test out for this event
E. Register for the March Atlanta event in the beta CMA

Note: During this event, any actions which result in a character's resurrection will be reviewed immediately after. If the resurrection is determined to have occurred due to 2.1 rules or rules knowledge issues, the death will not be recorded on the character's card except at the request of the player
