With the first gathering of spring at hand, I wish to impose on just a moment of your time to inform you all of a new initiative being carried out by the Court of the Barony of Nordenn. In honor of the traditions of the people of the previous Baron of Nordenn, Sir Ulthoc Crownsmith, His Excellency, Baron Sir Agurzil of Nordenn has decreed a new program called the Hospitality of Nordenn. In short, those who come in peace to our prescence shall be shown our greatest hospitality.
This, of course, has always been true to a point, due to the virtue of generosity being inherent in Icenia's Code of Chivalry. The point of this program, however, is to try to anticipate some needs of the people that are often inadequately met due to happenstance.
The program is still in development, but the first of its measures is this: by the efforts of the court alchemist, Merek, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE ALCHEMICAL HEAT AVAILABLE IN THE NORDENN ANNEX. The cold often comes upon us suddenly, or with greater virulence than expected. Your hands, feet, and safety are precious to us, and we would see them protected. I ask you all this: please, spread the word. Let no one feel the pain of the cold. If you are cold, or see someone who is, please, approach any member of Nordenn and ask us for an alchemical heating packet, and what you need will be provided. We can easily be recognized, as we will all be wearing the golden Lawgiver on our clothing or pouch- a sword with the crossguard of dragon wings and a dragon-head pommel.
Please, do not suffer the cold. Come feel the warmth of Nordenn.
