Unbounded, I have officially gotten the team for your activities together and ready for scouting. In order to get the best information you have until this next Sunday, the 7th of Duomist, to provide us a task. Please come to a consensus before then of what you would like this team to come on scouting. You may discuss this privately or in the dreaming.

The Unbounded are discussing the matter and are coming to a consensus. To help us better direct you, I have a question. What does the name Avana mean to you?

The Legion as a whole has been briefed on the Light Elementals and their origin. In fact we have a unit ready to look into them and had previously asked for unbounded aid in this endeavor. But without some extra protection we were not able to safely move far into their territory. ((Since I was late in responding I will give more time for this decision))
 
Pathmaker,

We ask that you investigate the territories of these 'Light Elementals' (as an Oathsworn I dont feel that 'Elemental' is the correct term but it hardly matters). Specifically we are seeking one called the Herald who carries a glowing staff and one under his thrall who is called Alloysius. We wish to rescue the later from the Herald as he is a powerful ally against the Light. We understand that you may not be able to contend with their strength, but any information on their location and where specifically Allyosius is would be most valuable. I will ensure that a group of Unbounded will assist and follow up this endeavor soon.

Good Pathmaker,

I realize you already have much to do and to attend to. If you end up taking on this task and if you have a scholar among your personnel, could we prevail upon you to have them deliver to us a brief dossier summary on these creatures of Light outlining what your scouts have witnessed and encountered when observing or engaging them. Any details would be helpful, such as aversions or hardiness against certain schools of magic, or even if they fast movers or particularly cunning.

Some Unbounded have faced them before, and may yet already have older notes on such things; however, with a shift in The Balance of the Mistsphere's mystical powers, we are concerned that these beings might be embolden or may have evolved somehow since last we faced them. This would help us better prepare ourselves to assist in further encounters.

In the meantime, I and my Order will hold vigil for you and your comrades, sending to you our earnest Hope that you return to us safely.

Area of Activity: Previous Blighted Territory South West of Rathfall
Body:
Scouts asked by Unbounded to observe the newly appeared light creatures thought to have refuge in the SW unBlighted lands. Special interest was given to individuals known as "Alloysius" and "Herald". Scouts moved into position outside of the suspected territory and made observations for 3 week. The following was documented by the Foliage Fowlers who were assigned to this duty.

Territory: The territory is barren, all areas that are under control of the Light forces have been scoured of trees, grasses, and bushes. The ground gives off a faint glow, easily seen at night. Cracks have begun to appear near their "center", shedring more light into the area.

Creatures: No natural creatures seen, no sounds of natural creatures heard.

Housing: No housing nor logistics observered. This force seems to be completely self sufficient

Forces: the enemy seems to be fragmented into multiple identical units. The following are observations about each
Grunts: Basic humanoid shapes of light. Tend to general removal of endemic life from the area. Somehow communicate back to larger forces. Match previous sightings of Light Elementals
Scouts: Small orbs of lights, fast moving. Overwhelm their opponents with their numbers. Henceforth called Scatter Light Elementals
Juggernauts: large primary appendage that acts as a shield. Aggressive and dangerous. Henceforth called Reflection Light Elementals. DO NOT ENGAGE
Others: three other seen from a distance but not engaged. Highly recommend a more combat focused group approach

Casualties: 4 scouts lost to engagement. Group recommended to cease close observations.

We are truly grateful for this detailed reconnaissance report. These accounts will certainly set us up for success in our discussions of strategy.

We are also deeply grieved to learn that four of your brave operatives were lost in the effort to obtain this precious information. We will Honour their service to the realm by making good use of the fruits of their labor, and ensure that there is minimal loss of life going forward.

Under the auspice of the upcoming solemnity of Remembrance Day, I wish to commemorate these courageous individuals. I understand an Adherent of the Earth’s Chosen will be leading those of us gathered in Brightshore in the ceremony of Whispering To The Stones. If you would be so kind as to send us the names of the Four who have Fallen, we in The Order of the Pearled Heart and of The Unbounded shall make sure their name and memories are committed to the Land, so that The Earth itself will remember long after this crisis has become history. We will call upon Peace to rest within their spirits.
