Good eve to all.
My apologies for the lateness of this posting, it has been quite a taxing day upon me.
This coming market will note the Spine Drake's hunting and foraging season before they prepare for hibernation. During this time, the younglings, adolescents and adults will be out and about throughout the market. Please take note of the following:
1) The younger Spine Drakes hunt by surprise and ambush. I request that anyone going off into the night please take at least two other individuals with you as to not be jumped by these creatures. Many of the Spine Drakes love to use sleeping or paralysis effects to ensure they are able to drag you back for their eating pleasure.
2) The older Spine Drakes have combinations of poisons, physical blows, spells and more to cause harm to those attempting to stop it. Keep this in mind if you are unable to protect against these effects.
3) If someone is eaten or engulfed by the Spine Drakes, STRIKE ONLY THE HEAD AND STOMACH. Hitting any other part of the creature will not cause it enough pain to regurgitate the person back up. I repeat, if someone is eaten or engulfed, STRIKE ONLY THE HEAD AND STOMACH UNTIL THE PERSON IS SPIT UP.
In regards to other tasks that are needed for this coming market, my partner Margrave Fairhorn, will be in need of some assistance to work on her research into finding tea for a task we have from the town. I also believe, as she stated in her postings, she will need some assistance in checking in on someone near the Kynn kingdom. I would also request if any adventurer is willing, to gather a group of individuals and go out hunting for more of our Bastion boxes of supplies in the woods. The town is in desperate need of cloth to continue building homes and any we can find this market is greatly appreciated.
Finally, I would like to remind everyone of the job board that is posted in the tavern. The Adventurer's Guild posts various requests throughout the market from those who are in need of help, services or more. Please remember to sign the names of you and your allies on the back of the job card to ensure you are given proper credit.
If you have any further questions, please look for me at the start of the market gathering. I am the tall elf with vine markings upon my face. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Stay safe and sleep well.
