To all of Briarpass and its Adventurers.

Kevar

Elite
Marshal
To the adventurers of Wayside,

If you have not yet heard Lurin and Runir have returned to Wayside. Not as the friendly, honorable men that they were when they visited so many times before, but as monstrous vampires. I am wrought with sorrow and horror over this. Yet there is much to be done, unlike a vampire Quasim I know to a degree the extent of their power.

These are men who have given much to the people and adventurers of Briarpass, and deserve to be remembered as the men that they were. I have heard you Dramthin, and if indeed there is any way to restore them to their former selves I will give everything that I have to make it so. However I do not know such a way, if anyone does please speak now. Until that time I vow to fight with everything that I have to destroy the very essence of their being from existence. They are no longer our friends that we may remember them as, those men are dead.

If there is anyone that will stand beside me in this I would be grateful, it may lead to your destruction. This is truly my own task. I hope that all residents of Briarpass will know that the vampires Lurin and Runir are not the men they may remember them as. If any man, women, or child needs protection from them please contact me immediately. I will do what I can to try and make you better protected against them.

May you find warmth from Winter’s sweet embrace,
Kevar Byrne, Last Standard Bearer of the Order of the Earthen Fist

My skills can be added to this front and I will do my best to help you, though it will be a difficult road to travel as I too know the skill they possessed before the change.

Again Kevar,

again do you make unfair assumptions on one who has to given you so much. Dishonorable or unfriendly indeed, we in fact seek to expand the Order's membership to as many as possible, and not once have I broken my word to you or anyone. It is the Fae, not myself or purify Runir that the people need to fear, indeed it may only be our hands that can keep that which wanders in the night truely at bay. Destroying the undead is like trying to empty the see, no matter how much progress you may make, they will still exist. Is it not my better to instead seek to keep them at bay and save so many innocent lives. What is the sacrifice of a few adventurers, or their toys granted by the elemental fae, compared to this?

To those innocents in the dreamscape, their is no need to fear your new Arch Dukes, it is for your safety that we do what we body must. Still, Kevar is an honorable man, and since I am unlikely to be available, he is a good man to goto should your families find themselves in danger.

-Lurin

Lurin,

I see that perhaps I have spoken to quickly, you are indeed of the same resolve as you always have been. However you call forth undead to do your bidding, undead that ravage the lands. How can you claim to still protect the innocent while raising forth such abominations, that will surely attack all living things? It may just be me being naive, but I see not the path that you have taken. I will not stand for you to do this any longer, Lurin we worked with all of Wayside to rid the land of Quasim, and yet now you stand before me much similar as he was, strong with the powers of chaos that surge through your veins. Lurin I will not stand to see you in this condition, and I will give all that I have to rid you of this world, or force your spirit of this curse. People of Briarpass, he speaks truth in some things, he will not be returning to Wayside to aid you, so I will do my best to give you the comfort and protection that he always gave. Seek me out if you need me for anything, big or small.

May you find warmth from Winter's sweet embrace,
Kevar Byrne, Last Standard Bearer of the Order of the Earthen Fist.

Kevar,
They need so much, you have so little. How will you help them all? This is why the Order was created, to band together the efforts of a few to save many. I ask you now how can you, the one, save many. It took all the power of us combine to protect them all. So you see, you must return to our ranks, to save them Kevar. Save them all.

Master at arms of the Order of the Earthen Fist
Runir

Kevar does not stand alone.

Fallen Star,

Truthfully you have spoken. There were a few on that night that I recall. The one of the elemental blade. He of the blade of light who once honored our ranks. One with Tusks that come and go. There was one other, the prophetess. They all stood, together.

And it was that so they fell.

Master at arms of the Order of the Earthen Fist.
Runir

Runir,

I is ironic how even when twisted by a vampiric taint you still can pick out the truth from even the simplest of comments. Or perhaps it is because you are in your current state that you are not refrained from saying whatever comes to you mind. You have known for a long time as I have, that Liddia often will jump in without thinking. This time appears to be know different.

May you find warmth from Winter's sweet embrace,
Kevar Byrne, Last Standard Bearer of the Order of the Earthen Fist.
