Winterthorn and I will be coming to Icenia in the next month, so if you have another order of alchemy for Kier we can easily bring it with us. Please let me know if we can help in any way.

A stone troll is a rather common type of troll that is a modest threat to a single soldier with a year or less of experience. I am a Galanthian. I am a significant threat to a single soldier with a year or less of experience.

I know little of Stoneborn, but I can provide information that will help you defend Ashbury from an assault by Galanthian forces.
Galanthia is a nation to the southwest of Ashbury. It is physically about the twice the size of the Duchy, I believe, though I will admit to being a mediocre student of geography at best. I can say with certainty that it is beyond both the Contested Lands and a portion of the Plains of Rage. The only other route between the two nations is by sea.
Galanthia is an empire, currently ruled by His Glorious Excellency, Emperor Lochaber. The foundation of Galanthian culture is strict adherence to hierarchy, both governmental and social. This organization is particularly reflected in the military of Galanthia. The most common of soldiers all adhere to rank, follow orders efficiently, and are well trained in many types of tactics.
The elite portion of the military, known as the Swords of Lore, are paramount soldiers, ranging from about 5 years military experience to 40 years military experience. Swords of Lore can be recognized by the mark of a sword on one of their cheeks. The color of the sword is an indication of the skills of the soldier. A red sword indicates a warrior, a blue sword indicates a spell caster, and a black sword indicates a part of the stealth force. Swords of Lore with two or three swords on their face are officers.
At this time I believe that His Glorious Excellency is leading Galanthian forces in the Contested Lands in a continuing assault on Ashbury, though my information about the disposition of such troops is almost a year out of date. Should you encounter Galanthian troops, be aware that they will likely include undead forces and that some Galanthian soldiers are willing to use necromancy in battle. It is unlikely that Galanthian troops will be allied with any of the other armed forces that inhabit the Contested Lands, unless His Glorious Excellency has recently changed imperial policy.
That information should be sufficient to assist your defense of Ashbury should Galanthians attack. I provide this information freely and willingly so that we can both better defend this Duchy from any and all adversaries.

It would seem wise to not discuses such military information within the deep meditation of these realm. This of course is advice all individuals who can hear it.
