I have one, and it's super secret. If you are a talented craftspeep (knowledge of latex building a plus) and are willing to brainstorm solutions and then hold my hand through the building process, please shoot me a PM.

No really, I'm petrified about this.
 
Check out this tutorial by Wynar for putting PlastiDip on your weapons for decoration. Also, you can sharpen a drywall knife (like this one) for making long, straight cuts (i.e. beveling the edge of a blade). Umm...other than that, my only suggestion is to plan, plan, plan! Sketch out everything and plan for it ahead of time and then go back through and check the plan again and when you're ready to get down to it, plan on spending a couple of days not doing much else besides putting on a coat and then waiting for it to dry and slapping on another one.
