What was the fate of the Rakshasa?

My most excellent people of Fortannis,

I have been sleepless these last nights, desperate for information on what has been going on. What news from Desha Vitara? Has the Rakshasa been destroyed, or at least his actions halted for the time being?

We kicked their asses!
 
The Rakshasa was set upon by all the adventurers gathered. Once he was felled, I used the mace the Karid(sp?) gave us to turn the Rakshasa into a mere human. Then I ran him through. A group of us stayed while the form dissipated, and awhile longer to see it reform, but it never did. I believe that the Rakshasa resurrected successfully somewhere in Desha Vitara and will be trying to find a way to regain his power. I hope no way exists and that he will have to grow old and die.
