94 pages of love, drama, subterfuge, political backstabbing, allies, enemies, undecideds, old traditions, and new revelations.

Screw that "Tournaments are old and trite" noise. This one has teeth. Big, nasty, grab-you-by-your-collar-and-rattle-you-around teeth. Or maybe those are hands.

Will belts be lost? Will belts be gained? Will there be more enemies at our doorstep, or new allies to protect us? One thing's for sure... this one helps shape the future of the chapter for years to come.

COME TO THE TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEND OR YOU MISS THE INSANE MIND BOWING AWAYNESS THAT HAPPENS WHEN MIKE STRAUSS, TOM HASWELL, TODD NAVAS, AND COLLIN BABCOCK COLLABORATE!!!

PC! NPC! BOTH!!! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!!!
 
We will also be keeping an eye on Mr. Haswell's caffine intake in the future. But yes, this event is going to rock some socks.
 
Wait a minute...... so on top of Blythedale's dynasty run in the Team Tournament (1st Place in 610 and 2nd Place in 608), you now add some political intrigue?

I hate to be a spoilsport Eric, but the 1st place win in 610 seriously deserves an asterisk. The two biggest contenders dropped out during / before opening ceremonies.

Incorrect, the 2 biggest teams IMO was Ash forest and then i would say us, (Blythedale) or the Evorran NPC team. So it was definitely not a lay down. No offense to BF AND Nordenn of coarse.... BTW Spart, Rorii, Darla for a 3 person combat team is pretty gross, and Sparty for heroes combat... nough said.

As for speed, you need to get Usain Bolt if you wanna compete with team Blyth!
 
I dunno, BF might have given you a run for your money.

BW, Sparty wasn't there. Their 3 person combat team went down to basically Andros and I in six seconds flat... just sayin'. :thumbsup:

That was several years ago (when it took me 1 hr in heros to defeat Rorii and win first place that year by 1 pt) and again like every 3 man that we have competed in, not one member of BF dropped.

As for the speed, you got me there, We R a bunch of old F's :funny:

Im not saying BF would not of been a good run for the money, im not saying we could of won or could not of won if BF was there, i was not taking anything away from BF or Nordenn or anyone else. I was just insinuating that the 2 best teams had in fact not dropped out. Evorran team was crazy good as well, Bill Gibbs as Sir logan = stat card from hell... Heresy on steroids IMO :), Emilia npc won the archery i believe, and they as a team had a bad *** song with Collin on the ole 6 string, think they placed first in entertainment with it.

and incorrect I think. :mer: I am 102% positive, with a 2% margin of error... 2 years ago at the team tourney (the last team tourney) the one Eric was referring to winning as Blythedale. Sparty was there, i lost to him in heroes ( i remember because the RP with Ithica and Sparty prior to raising swords in that duel was one of my favorite moments ever playing this game). We fought Dan, Missy and him in 3 mans combat. For entertainment he dressed like a purty mermaid! Sparty was in da house.

Last year was tourney at orc land
Then the team tourney we are all talking about.
The year before that was the singles tourney in the Imlidarian lands (spelling?, the elves

Of course, I am in agreement with everything Toddy said on this subject.

If Miami wins the NBA Championship, should there be an asterisk because Derrik Rose of Chicago got injured? You can't judge contests on "what ifs." Maybe some previously-unheard-of All-Star team of 100+ level characters would have shown up, then we definitely would have lost, so maybe every tournament should be an asterisk.
