so, if I were to make a latex bow, since it does not have a stiking suface could I do the whole thing with 3/8" foam?

What are the rules on latex weapons? I want to make my own latex weapons but I don't want to put forth the effort and money to find out game day that I cannot use them. Any input (especially from a marshal) would be appreciated.

I have access to a lot of titanium and wanted to make armor pieces from it. Would 18g titanium be a 3 point material? I have often wondered about the viablity of titanium as armor due to its brittle nature but it is so light weight the idea is hard to pass up.
