all i have to say is "wow!!!" I want to thank everyone who made this event the sauce of awesome sauce!!! and a special thanks to the NPC's who came out saturday night at stupid o'clock and then came over and roleplayed for a bit! you guys rock!

My favorite thing was when I showed up at the end and talked to a newbie NPC who informed me that she really enjoyed the game, and was getting ready to go out for the final battle where the PCs would be fighting the "Dominicans."

Mages Guild plot: Learning how to tap into my High magic point with the Prince of Imliadr and the Elder of the Children of Autum..getting rifted to one of the Primordial forests to learn this was amazing (Thanks Toddo, Michelle and Scott)
Going back to the Elemental Forge and getting a pet Golem! (while I was there....I had to leave him behind <sad sad> but recovering some very useful magic) The puzzles were awsome and using the wands rocked.. and Mugg saving the day with his Ice wand.....
Getting to use my wands to do some serious damage.....like having pure energy! = )
Roleplaying with Tims Dwarf....2 traders making deals......
Guild business.... finally we are going places! Talking about guild structure and how the Guilds intereact with eachother and the royal giuld....Getting an apprentice.... contributing to the guild library and showing the Royal Guild mistress that came to visit how to tap into high magic.. that was hot!!!
Finally being able to create items: It was awsome working with 2 other mages to craft some nifty items in the guild......The potential is limitless what can be done! Cant wait to be asked again to do that. ( thanks Scott for being the ritual Marshall in the 1st wave and Dan for the 2nd wave of rituals)
I had an awsome time at the event and cant wait to be in game again real soon! Amazing job the NPC's did... you guys are hard core! With the weather we had an you guys rocked! Thanks!

Koshi's farewell: Talk about emotional. Seeing the ash forest in tears and everyone who came to say goodbye. We got one final motion of Team Awesome passed by the champeen of awesome (no, i didnt mis spell that). From this day forth, every seventh tuesday of a month is Koshi day. Having the opertunity to reunite Koshi and his mother, and swearing to find his brother. Intense stuff.
Finding out that we captured Isenvervector Tagas Reidic. Pantzike: "Your going to have fun with him right?" me: "I don't think anyone will let me do the things they tought me to do. Plus, he is going to be kept uncontious" pantzike: "their still unwilling to do what must be done, huh?"
Trying to fight Tagas one on one but having mooks keep getting in the way.
Explaining to Cuar what happens to people who push any of my allies to far for whatever reason, be it playful or not. Cause Pain ftw. I had to fight the urge to call it "pain by nerve induction" all weekend.
Telling the farmers to go find Ren to help their sister becasue Ren has been learning to specificaly repair damage caused by enrydrigers.
Possible top favorite: While getting the third degree from Daneil Star and Darlassia about the Morfangs I kept referencing them as monsters, not people. At one point I said "would you feel better if it had been trolls, or bugbears?" at which Dan (barron rori) who was just walking by to pick up his dinner from the kitchen leans over and says "thats what I've been saying this whole time" and then just walks away. It took a lot for me to not go "see! the baron agrees!!"

How could I forget!!

Let me preface his by saying thank you staff and NPCs for this weekend! I did not expect to come back from such a long absence and have my best IG weekend ever. I laughed. I cried. I killed a few things and I seriously could not have asked for more.
My favorites from this weekend were finally becoming a full fledged Storm Blade after three years of waiting (thanks Darkan and Andros), having a player come up to me at stupid 0'clock Saturday night and ask me to put my "earth sticks" in him while grabbing his crotch and telling me he had gold (priceless). I also really enjoyed all of the Biata interaction this weekend, top notch role play there.
Last but not least, my faux hawk witch received an unusually positive reaction from everyone except the kitties (you know who you are).
Well, thats not all but that is it. Thanks to everyone who made this such an epic weekend!

First let me thank the staff, NPC's, and everyone behind the scenes of making one of the most enjoyable events I have had in a long time...you guys rock.
Ok momentos favoritos...
-Guild plot: Not only finally being a part of the great celestial plot line, its very cool modules (Yay) but seeing PC's coming up with new and inventive ways of increasing the overall hoching-ness of our most noble discipline. Nathan rocks.
-Becoming an apprentice to Sym. (Keep hearing the Darth Vader Theme March in my head whenever I think about it) trying and almost failing to keep my laughter down to a minimum when he had to speak in rhyme after a ritual...OMG very funny.
-Seeing all my boys in Green. (My hunt Peeps) You guys make me want to make a mean green more and more.
-Mug: Who would have thought it, saving the day with a wand of ice, and then seeing his expertise in checking for further traps...well done sir, I was impressed.
-All things Ash Forest: I never thought I would enjoy being part of a team quite so much. Sparticus and Rorii...felt immortal standing behind them (though for only the Nano second it took them to kill something and run across the field to kill more...hate you skinny people) And Darlassia who still has to learn phrases like "Pull back" and "Retreat" but still finally finding our groove.
-Koshi's spirit farewell: Seeing his mom enter, and then their embrace at the end...took alot not to shed a few for the performance (both of you...very well done)
-The look on Michelle's face when at the end of the event we all started with "Join Us" or "Be one of us" in a very deranged cult kind of way in front of the G4 guys with cameras rolling. Priceless.
I am sure there is alot more, but am still at work and have to atleast keep up the illusion of being productive.
Cant wait to play with you all again.

I'm really sick and broken and tired but I thought I would toss up a few favs while I still remember them:
- All things Arkelian Hunt. This may sound weird, but I wasn't so much excited to come play as I was excited to see all these guys and hang out with them again. I missed you all, you crazy mofos. Can't wait to see you next weekend!
- While it was a really strange experience to actually be PCing alongside of Gary Marvel instead of both of us being on opposite sides of the fence, it was also crazy fun. I had a lot of awesome roleplay and combat time with you, man -- I hope you bring him back up to HQ again sometime!
- Having the only Vex Squad representation being Man-At-Arms Sophie. I remember at one point her calling for Rock of Trellhiem while we were recouping between battle waves, and all she got was my horrible wild elf. Aw. As awesome as it was using Vex's magic axe for the weekend, I WANT MY DWARVES BACK.
- Uhh, Ali is amazing? Yeah, pretty much. I think what struck me most was her coming in as Zehnyu for Koshi's spirit farewell, and five minutes after she left, she comes back in again as Koshi's mother? Yeah, Ali is awesome. <3 Can't wait to PC with you again, woman!
- Dominion plot. Poor Amaranthus. Sevaria is so protective of her cranky biata ally.
Now I'm going to take some more nyquil and crawl back into bed. Hopefully I'll see all you folks at Caldaria, Deadlands, or Jersey!

Great weekend HQ, thanks for all the fun! Thanks NPCs for being hardcore and continuing to kick *** even in the freezing weather and rain.
-Finishing my shield and finally being able to rock it this weekend. Having Chazz as Thruggz smacking it intermittently throughout the weekend. Years ago Thruggz taught Tetsu to hold a shield, and finally he's got it! Thruggz is the best Sensei ever. Most entertaining part of all this was when Thruggz dropped me because I was holding my shield and sword w/ one hand rendering me vulnerable to attacks on my shield. It was a very delayed reaction haha.
-Seeing lots of old friends and meeting new friends. I was especially happy to see Tonya as Shya. Love you Tonya, the game is better with you there! I love roleplaying with you. Thanks for feeding me too!
-Seeing Irina again, it's always a pleasure. Samara am awesome-sauce.
-Meeting Sevaria of Goshawk! Kelsey rulzzzz.
-Kicking the Undeads in their rotten junk w/ my girlfriend hehe. Rebecca is the sexy super soldier hehe. I love embarassing Sophie with my loudmouth ways. Ms. Dawn is ever so proper, and Tetsu is...well...Tetsu is not hah. <3
-Rolling with the Ash Forest and going on my first nature walk with them. I really enjoy being a part of the court.
-The RP mod to recover the ability to cast ritual magic. Lots of fun interaction with Michelle and Toddo as their roles respectively. Asking Bryani to communicate with his briar kin and ask them to release themselves from my clothing haha.
-All things Arkelian Hunt. These guys are family in and out of game as far as I am concerned. They are the guys I started playing this game with and I love rolling with them. I was really pleased there was such great camaraderie between our characters and both teams I'm affiliated with. It was a really positive experience.
-RP at Koshi's spirit farewell. Those are never especially fun experiences (spirit farewells) for me, but the intense roleplay is welcome. Will is an amazing player and a great sport. He had a really rough '08 with his PCs but he is still going strong and kicking ***. The range between Koshi and Gebous highlights what an amazing roleplayer he is and I'm really happy to play the game with him.
-Listening to Cuar tell me about how he does not think he's mighty and then watching him terminate a very substantial enemy AND perform a cat like fall from the beam in the tavern. He fell asleep and would have faceplanted were it not for his keen ninja skills. It was great to see you Chris!
-The mod where we recovered a brand spankin' new celestial spell book. Symerille is the giga genius elf! "Him brain am so big it like come out him ear when he sneeze." Alushtas is a really cool character and it was great to play with Harold again. Sophie kicked the elementals *** with me, and Wizard Nathan was practically giddy when he got his hands on a full book with new spells. Tetsu's new fear is the banish spell...I wonder where we would have ended up if we didn't have spell shields on
-Creating an Undead Slayer thanks to my team and Sym's talents! It has been a dream of mine to make an enchanted weapon like this for a long time. Later on using it on some vampires and swinging '11 Magic' as a scholar felt so good. It was great to roll with Thruggz and smite the undead. I believe it was Matt Keyser who eventually ended my fun with an ULTRA stealth waylay...well played sir, that was frightening!
-Uncle Muggins the Earth caster. Tedd is really in to his character and I think the changes he made are aweseom. I'm really glad you had fun with that bro.
-Watching Gebous wand down crunchies was quite entertaining.
-RP w/ Baron Rorii regarding the code and just chilling with the court.
-All things Natalia!!! She saved my *** sooooo much. When the crazy fast zombies showed up I thought so many of us were dead, but it was not so, because Natalia is the CRAZY stealth panther healer. She army crawled over huge stones and debris to get to all of us and life us. It was nuts. I was staring up in to the sky counting my death count and out of the corner of my eye I swear I saw a big cat lol. Then I heard 'I grant you the gift of life' softly in my ear. I thought for a second a puma had come over and saved my life, but it was Natalia creeping past saving everyone's life haha. It was amazing.
-RP w/ Brian as Air Raksa...our polar opposite relationship became not so polar! It was really cool hanging with my uncle and observing how the change in magic may have changed more than my Uncle's skills!!
-Getting warm in the healer's guild and having a chance to rp with Henry for a little while as Sherriff Harrison about the state of Dockside etc. (THANKS SHERRIFF HARRISON!) and giving a little bobble to Sophie Dawn and receiving the kiss on my cheek that made Tetsu blush poo brown...yeah. LOL.
-Seeing Ali as Zehnyu. It was short but sweet. Ali rocks and I can't wait to have the chance to play an entire event with her again!
-Duffy (Balls) busting his *** for all us weary and hungry folk. Thanks so much man. I hope we can go on some mods together next event!!
-Giving my first report at the noble meeting saturday morning.
-Tab's KICK *** multiple personality RP. Holy efff I have never really seen him slip between Delphi and Wik so quickly. It was crazy. Wik is an amazing character played by a great dude.

Jeez I could go on and on. It was great to celebrate the de-rusting in HQ. Thanks again to all the NPCs, new players on both sides of the fence for coming, and HQ staff for making it happen. I had a lot of fun and could go on and on but my brain is starting to melt.

-Finishing my shield and finally being able to rock it this weekend. Having Chazz as Thruggz smacking it intermittently throughout the weekend. Years ago Thruggz taught Tetsu to hold a shield, and finally he's got it! Thruggz is the best Sensei ever. Most entertaining part of all this was when Thruggz dropped me because I was holding my shield and sword w/ one hand rendering me vulnerable to attacks on my shield. It was a very delayed reaction haha.
-Seeing lots of old friends and meeting new friends. I was especially happy to see Tonya as Shya. Love you Tonya, the game is better with you there! I love roleplaying with you. Thanks for feeding me too!
-Seeing Irina again, it's always a pleasure. Samara am awesome-sauce.
-Meeting Sevaria of Goshawk! Kelsey rulzzzz.
-Kicking the Undeads in their rotten junk w/ my girlfriend hehe. Rebecca is the sexy super soldier hehe. I love embarassing Sophie with my loudmouth ways. Ms. Dawn is ever so proper, and Tetsu is...well...Tetsu is not hah. <3
-Rolling with the Ash Forest and going on my first nature walk with them. I really enjoy being a part of the court.
-The RP mod to recover the ability to cast ritual magic. Lots of fun interaction with Michelle and Toddo as their roles respectively. Asking Bryani to communicate with his briar kin and ask them to release themselves from my clothing haha.
-All things Arkelian Hunt. These guys are family in and out of game as far as I am concerned. They are the guys I started playing this game with and I love rolling with them. I was really pleased there was such great camaraderie between our characters and both teams I'm affiliated with. It was a really positive experience.
-RP at Koshi's spirit farewell. Those are never especially fun experiences (spirit farewells) for me, but the intense roleplay is welcome. Will is an amazing player and a great sport. He had a really rough '08 with his PCs but he is still going strong and kicking ***. The range between Koshi and Gebous highlights what an amazing roleplayer he is and I'm really happy to play the game with him.
-Listening to Cuar tell me about how he does not think he's mighty and then watching him terminate a very substantial enemy AND perform a cat like fall from the beam in the tavern. He fell asleep and would have faceplanted were it not for his keen ninja skills. It was great to see you Chris!
-The mod where we recovered a brand spankin' new celestial spell book. Symerille is the giga genius elf! "Him brain am so big it like come out him ear when he sneeze." Alushtas is a really cool character and it was great to play with Harold again. Sophie kicked the elementals *** with me, and Wizard Nathan was practically giddy when he got his hands on a full book with new spells. Tetsu's new fear is the banish spell...I wonder where we would have ended up if we didn't have spell shields on
-Creating an Undead Slayer thanks to my team and Sym's talents! It has been a dream of mine to make an enchanted weapon like this for a long time. Later on using it on some vampires and swinging '11 Magic' as a scholar felt so good. It was great to roll with Thruggz and smite the undead. I believe it was Matt Keyser who eventually ended my fun with an ULTRA stealth waylay...well played sir, that was frightening!
-Uncle Muggins the Earth caster. Tedd is really in to his character and I think the changes he made are aweseom. I'm really glad you had fun with that bro.
-Watching Gebous wand down crunchies was quite entertaining.
-RP w/ Baron Rorii regarding the code and just chilling with the court.
-All things Natalia!!! She saved my *** sooooo much. When the crazy fast zombies showed up I thought so many of us were dead, but it was not so, because Natalia is the CRAZY stealth panther healer. She army crawled over huge stones and debris to get to all of us and life us. It was nuts. I was staring up in to the sky counting my death count and out of the corner of my eye I swear I saw a big cat lol. Then I heard 'I grant you the gift of life' softly in my ear. I thought for a second a puma had come over and saved my life, but it was Natalia creeping past saving everyone's life haha. It was amazing.
-RP w/ Brian as Air Raksa...our polar opposite relationship became not so polar! It was really cool hanging with my uncle and observing how the change in magic may have changed more than my Uncle's skills!!
-Getting warm in the healer's guild and having a chance to rp with Henry for a little while as Sherriff Harrison about the state of Dockside etc. (THANKS SHERRIFF HARRISON!) and giving a little bobble to Sophie Dawn and receiving the kiss on my cheek that made Tetsu blush poo brown...yeah. LOL.
-Seeing Ali as Zehnyu. It was short but sweet. Ali rocks and I can't wait to have the chance to play an entire event with her again!
-Duffy (Balls) busting his *** for all us weary and hungry folk. Thanks so much man. I hope we can go on some mods together next event!!
-Giving my first report at the noble meeting saturday morning.

I'm just now remembering the conversations overheard and had during the spirit farewell with Wik and the whole thing was very cool and interesting.

Uhm...these last few months have been interesting...and of course the loss of my char's uncle and father in such a short time really rocks your rp out of the path you had planned. This is relevant cause of everything that happened this weekend - from the first moments in game with the coat on and some of the questions from chars who didn't know who Khaadi was. It was interesting overall.
Springtime is hell on my char - especially being a young female...but I wouldn't trade any of the insane rp that resulted even if i could.

I got to hang out with The Hunt!! Saturday night mod was awesome, the "wave battle" was awesome...Khaadi is so happy and honored to know and consider you friends and family

I had a blast this weekend, it was the first weekend I've attended in 2 years!
I loved seeing all the new faces, but also loved seeing all the new faces!!!

From the NPC side -
The PCs all fought efficiently and intelligently. Stop looking surprised...I'm serious.
The atmosphere in NPC camp was warm even if the air was freezing. Tom, Ali, Michelle, and Toddo run a tight ship all up in that barn.
Lopez and I are ninjas and are damned proud of ourselves for spending two and a half hours of our lives friday night crawling through mud and freezing to death.
Getting nods from PCs when were out playing. Nothing makes us feel cooler then when Ted Collins tells you, "I love the intensity." We try real hard and love it when the PCs bite.
Stupid hour in NPC camp during Koshi's spirit farewell. Coming up with some of the funniest fishbowls that got chased out of the tavern.
I'm going to try something new for this favorites page -

5. Khaadijah - Her enthusiasm was as over the top as her new duds. Whenever I was some monster that scared even me on paper, she was right there puncing at me with her blades.
4. Mattock - Holding off an entire team of gnolls on the loops so that reinforcements could arrive is badass. Holding off an entire team of gnolls on the loop so that reinforcements could arrive while doing the Neo hand-gesture, "Come get some," is badawesomeass.
3. Wynter Rose - Wynter is an incredibly good sport even when NPCs are doing horrific things to her. Kudos on good sportsmanship.
2. Gary Marvel's character- I don't remember his name, but he was a terrific player, a good sportsman and was a lot of fun to confront in a swirling melee. Maybe it's just that I keep mistaking him for David Bowie...
