Hello folks!

Please let us know what you enjoyed about the event. Jokes, situations, fights roleplays and mods etc.

I thought this was a great event!!! Thank you to Donna, Collin, Kyle (Ternis Cave), Amy (Beatrice) and all the NPCs for an awesome time!!!

Just off the top of my head, my favorites include:

* The best role-played fire elemental I've ever encountered
* Justin as Giles the gryphon hunter (no matter what character Justin plays, ask him to tell a story and you'll be regaled with a great tale that he probably created in that moment off the top of his head)
* The surprise wedding of Ivan and Sryah
* Almost dying 4 times in one battle (those Death elementals were vicious......)
* Hanging with the full Blythedale team
* Seeing Red get squired
* Khorwyn becoming "Lord Captain"
* Seeing my old friend Cedric
* Amaranthus laying the "smack-down" on arrogant paladins
* Gebus helping to save Khorwyn and then taking his "finder's fee" from the treasure
* Sryah trying to save Ivan as he lay dying on the battlefield, only to be killed herself just as she reaches him. For a few moments I thought, "Wow, it would be a really good story if we both die on our wedding night."
* Kyle as Ternis Cave; great job balancing between sucking up to the nobles and still being an arrogant merchant (or should I say "death elemental")
* Amy as Beatrice, our illustrious event planner
* Claude LaRoche; whomever played this NPC role: I don't know your name, but you did an awesome job!
* Nathan being Sryah's "Maid of Honor"
* Belgar coming into his own on the battlefield..... he's a quick learner!
* Rowan's "honor" combat with a former Dominion
* Garathon taking charge and being a strong noble presence; nothing phases this guy!
* Ithica participating in the wand duel with his spider summoning wand
* Dominic's growth as a character; the kid's got a future in adventuring!

I'll probably think of more, but this is a start. Who's next?

:D That was me! It was extremely fun playing him too! That makeup took a bit of work to get out though.

Oh goodness, where to start.......

Donna, You my lady, are one rockin woman!!
THANK YOU NPCS!!! You guys were all so into your rolls, I honestly forgot we were playing a game.

* Death-elementals: That was the first time Dell got the taste of how small she was. Nothing reminds you that your life is fragile like a Death touched thingy thing sneaking up and cutting you down before you know what happened.

* HAVING MORE THAN ONE BIATA ON SIGHT!!!! Playing with Heidi, Jamie (sp?), Amaranthus, Laguna, Goodness! Not to forget the CRAZY biata PLOT!

* Biata Plot. Mike V and Heidi, THANK YOU! I was honestly doubting why I created my Biata Fighter, and then I get some of the most heart-renching, chest-swelling, mind blowing plot to show me just who I want to be as Dell Merik.

* All things Biata Councels. Jiales (Coggins) rolling in and startling almost everyone in the tavern. Mia and her indignation. Chris' bodyguard char. and how he and Justin almost went at each other's necks! :whaa:

* Jiales Lionsend (Did I get the last name right?)- Goodness that was the most intense role play I have had yet. The entire time my mind is doing all sorts of political calculations, while trying to be just flirty enough, staying in control of the deep-seated fear of him, not let on how she really feels, and maintaining her High-blooded dignity as is her position. Justin, you kicked ***- striking fear and unease into everyone when you burst into the room, or on the battle field.

*Covert Operations to stop Slavery with Lazy Zat and Korhwyn (sp?) SO COOL!!!! Turns out, Dell is MUCH better at playing a spy than I as Meg could ever have imagined!

I know I have many, many more, but my wee-little-lad is waking up from his nap. I'll be back to post more soon!!!

I haven't npcd a whole weekend in forever. Never played a bigger part either. This was a blast.

1. Npc crew YOU ARE EPIC. From jeremy and Jeff, to Gaurino being awesome, to Susie with her life spirit, to my cousin having a blast and joking with lisa and bonito. Folks you guys did amazing. hearing the players talk about the adventures and watching how well you all did was great. I'm really proud off everyone and not just my team.
2. OMFGBQQROFLCOPTER DOnna! Donna my dear you were epic and wrote some awesome stuff. we couldn't get out a ton of stuff cause players were busy having fun with what you already set up. thats a huge deal and a sign you are doing it right!
3. roleplaying with blythedale.. and then going to npc camp and devising way around things
4. the tournament and good sportsmanship during the duels.
5. seeing the mods i helped write go out and people enjoy them
6. seeing some peeps i rarely get to hang with.

You folks are awesome and i consider myself lucky to be constantly amazed by you all. thanks for letting me share in your world.

Kyle

Okay. I think I'm going to forget so many things....But that's what happens when the weekend is packed full of things.

~NPCs Thank you so much for this weekend. You have no clue how much all of you made this weekend rock! You were all amazing and made me forget that this was a game.
~DONNA! Lady I love you! This was amazing! All the times I came to you going "I'm doing this...." And you sitting there for a minute thinking and giving me a great reply. Thank you for everything!

~Walking into game with the whole group! I really do love this group. And it was nice not being the only girl for once.....kinda... Guys I am really happy to be part of Blythedale and every event with you guys is amazing!
~Pulling out two bottles of Astikir and sharing with the team and select others.
~Running after the people who took Justin's character after the assault. Red was slightly drunk at the time but pulled together to just get turned away.
~Finding out who Claud was. Not totally trusting him but liking him despite the slight distrust.
~MRS SUSIE LEE!!!!!!!!!!!
Me- "Susie do you accept physical role play?"
Susie- "Yes!"
Me- Grabs Susies reffugee and throws her to the ground.
Susie- fighting back against me.
Me- Pinning her down. "Stop this now!"
Susie I love you!
~Going to the 'prison' with Claud and finding two of the prisoners he told me about missing. Flipping out on both Claud and the guard as to why two prisoners were missing. Taking both the ones that were there out and one running away while the other came back with me, got pardoned, given food, and escorted by Red to his 'home'.....Red totally took off her tabbard for this and covered her ears up. She felt so horrible.
~Arresting SO MANY PEOPLE Friday night.....WTF! Way to leave the High Guard all alone you guys!
~Running the bracket Melee. It was fun to watch. Bound Knife fight.....Oh man.....lol
~Archery! Thank you so much Chris for letting me use your bow and letting me practice before the event. Too bad neither of us made it to finals. It was still a ton of fun!
~JADE SKELETON! TOM! I love you and hate you at the same time! So much anger and hatred for that man.
~The feast! We all worked really hard on the food and were really glad that you all enjoyed it.
~the Pheonix! OMG THAT COSTUME WAS SO AMAZING!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Eating dinner with the Prince of Imladar (I can't remember his name....) and then talking with him about everything and him telling her that he would like her to report to him about the war and what she knows. After telling him about the guards saying she wasn't aloud back in he told her that SHE could come back. That made her so happy. Him telling her that he would do everything he could to help her find her family. Him asking her to dance. Him casting the Vision Ritual for her IN IMLADAR! Just all the amazing RP that went on with that! Seriously Scott could you have made Red feel any more special?

~~~~~~~~Red finally found some one from her family! She was so over joyed, scared, angry, and just confused at the whole thing. She totally was not expecting Beatrice to hit her with necro from behind and when it happened it just added to everything. Mandy thank you!
~~~~GETTING SQUIRED! Red has been working towards this for the past year! I'm really glad that it has happened. Now Angel needs to get over her issue with memorizing things and get the damn code down..........Ugh.

Okay.....I just don't know any more there was so much. Last 3 are my top fave in order. Yeah I know very strange order...lol

Again Thank you Donna, NPCs, and my team!

So much recovery needed....... :pinch:

Wow. Okay, I know I will miss things. Holy crap, Donna. So much. So much everywhere.

Besides some amazing roleplay, not much happened in the first part of the weekend. Here's that bit:

-Thank you Frisco, for putting up with Vicky's emotional roller-coaster. Poor, poor "piss-drunk" Tvard. "You are NOT my physician! SERIOUSLY, you're NOT!" Yep, that argument.
-Yay, weekend with Daddy. Poor Robb, prolly had too much Vicky/Willow time. So many "wait, what?"s still happening, even though I've been IG and an obnoxious name-dropper for over a year. And that epic moment of the snobbery... uhm, I mean... locals of Two Towers knowing who Nathan is and then freaking out when they learned who I was.
-KAI. You know.
-Ulthoc being happy to see Vicky. I think.
-Not being killed by PCs. This is definitely a favourite.
-PROLON. So much happy. Holy cow. Sean, you don't know it yet, but you seriously changed Vicky's entire world with that one lesson. I didn't expect it to do anything and then it just sunk in and everything she did for the rest of the weekend had that judgement on it. "Am I enjoying this too much?" Also, the ball. Being comfortingly pulled off to the side all "nope, protecting this one" style.

And then the ball happened and suddenly there was very personal plot. Holy crap. I didn't expect this. At all. Not this event.

-Tom. Tom. TOM. You are amazing. Continue making me want to hate you and not quite succeed. It is a beautiful, horrible thing. Having you pop up and be all comforting and finding people and saving people and saving me and checking in on me and answering questions and just... mind explosions. Yes. We love you.
-Frank. You poor unfortunate thing. Thank you so much for just rolling with it, hopping fence and getting beat up in every way possible. Even if Sejanus didn't care, it was worth it. Your RP is so intense, keep it up.
-Ulthoc getting promoted. That. And then that thing when he turned around, locked eyes with Vicky, and opened his arms for a hug. THAT. I cannot describe to you how much this weekend broke Vicky's innate hatred for nobles. Getting to rush into Ulthoc's arms having cried a little at his receiving his coronet was definitely a moment to remember.
-Along the same line, that thing you did with the killing a paladin and forcing him to kneel or apologize. Yes. Amaranthus deserved that hug, no matter how much he doesn't understand that that's something Vicky does NOT take lightly.
-Dorian hugs. Those being a thing. She's breaking, I tell you.
-Dave, rolling with "we're tying you to a table. Yes, I'm serious." Also, recognizing Vicky. And taunting her. That was fun.
-Feeling like the popo for hauling two (in Vicky's mind) people in for obliteration. Yes. So much yes.
-Fire elemental. Trying to talk to him and being afraid of saying the wrong thing.
-RENYAURD. Having a bodyguard I just could. not. shake. was wonderful. The RP of it was just so weird, but so fun.
-Watching couples happen. Marriage, then engagement, then just becoming one. Those three. So wonderful.
-Seeing biata, being feather-paranoid, and becoming friends with them anyway. Dell, I'm looking at you.
-Simon carrying me over his shoulder from the very bottom of the stairs into the tavern. I keep telling you people, I love being tiny.
-Tackling Mouse upon seeing her.

I'm positive I'm missing very cool things. But this is all I remember distinctly.

being told "YOU ARE SO METAL!"
Seeing Khorwyn being a Lord, Red getting Squired, Drake finally getting married, and Garathon holding it down as First Knight in his homeland. Im so proud of my boys!
Winning the Blythedale sword, and then having to sell it as I wouldnt use it. But the Certificate was awesome.
Breakfast OOC with good friends
Shank fight with Bill Gibbs, 3 rd swing i punched Bill in the knee cap, hard *** bone reinforced with boiled leather, Bill says "My knee buckled but when you dropped your dagger, no way i was calling a hold"
Nathan Westwinds spell caster duel. Plot winging up a spider and allowing me to use the wand.
Khorwyns Archery tourney, what great rules he came up with.
The Ball was cool/fun.
Seeing Keegan, and seeing LOGAN!( for real im going to evorra, love this guy)
All things Collin/Kendrick
Lots of new faces, well faces to me that i got to interact with.
Hunters in da house!
Ona and Angrad, and i want!, and i Need, and i hurt, Animal!
Seeing Lhasa (spelling?) again.
One of my role models of this game is Walt, i really appreciate him as Auric. Minimal interaction, but from an outside looking in perspective.
Old School beat down/questioning, dragoon style with Amarathas and Khorwyn. "Listen either he gets beat and runs to us for sanctuary betraying them, or they kill him. Either way problem solved."
All things Donna/plot, Dame Vacct. Ithica just has your back!
Peasant rioting was quite funny.
Henry as the Wizard duel judge/announcer.
Henrys similar sized feet.
Ithica and Drifa side by side, grand melee we almost had it together. But then u got waylayed....
Raven and his entire crew. "Talking trees, that dont make no damn sense".
not sure of her name im sorry, but really impressed with the barbar female (plays ruiz also), the outfit she wore to the ball looked great. Kudos on a kick a$$ character.
Justin C as Giles, and then the life elemental. I love ya justin!
Compliments on my New Outfit.
Ithica fan club.. lol you guys were so cute. Specially after you ask her to marry you, and i ask her name. You just paused... lol.
"so you made a deal with a Dragon, didnt follow through, and now its raining lightning bolts, PERFECT!"
love/hate with Ulthoc. Tom much respect man, IG wise glad to be back up to a "tolerable of each other level."
Breathing some fresh air, and taking a little time to "just be". I hope you all truly know how much i enjoy playing this game with you. Through good and bad, I love this game.

Thanks for great weekend.
-Toddy

Whoa.

This event contained so many impactful things for both me and Khorwyn that I don’t even know if I can recount them all, but I will do my best! This event was the culmination of going on seven years of plot for me, left simmering behind the scenes until the right moment, and now exploding into game. What began as a mysterious personal plot element from early in Khorwyn’s adventuring career has now transitioned into what seems like a major, dangerous plot device, and I couldn’t be more pleased. So many things have changed for me and Khorwyn, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Here follows all of the favorites I can muster:

#1. Donna Hellmuth. Donna was responsible for not only designing, writing, and directing this amazing event, but also took it upon herself to pull the trigger on my personal plot and fire it into the lives of the adventuring community. Her passion, creativity, and dedication are integral to the very functionality of our chapter, and I’m so glad that we have her!

#2. NPC’s. We have so many excited volunteers these days. The game would truly suffer if it were not for the eagerness and initiative of our NPC’s, so I thank you all for tirelessly (well, you’re probably actually very tired) committing yourself to making the game world full and fun. I look forward to joining you in September!

#3. JR Messina. You probably know him as Belgar, but I know him as the most helpful, generous, and optimistic person I’ve had the pleasure of befriending in quite some time. Without JR, I would have lost my mind trying to organize, prepare, and serve this event’s feast. With his unwavering support and productive approach, we were able to execute what I felt was a successful, delicious feast. I cannot thank him enough. Seriously, he’s probably getting tired of hearing it!

#4. Todd Silber. Toddy sacrificed quite a bit of game time to stand as the judge for my archery competition. And he provided me with a super cool quiver to use. And he wanted but didn’t get to compete because he didn’t have the archery skill, even though he is apparently a badass archer in real life. Thanks so much, Bud, for helping me execute my contest!

#5. Dragons, Death Elementals, and the Jade Skeleton, oh my! I have successfully pissed off and/or am being hunted/punished by three major “bad” guys, all because of my not-so-secret-anymore amulet. What once was something we could hide away in a box behind a Ward is now bound to me, making me a moving target/beacon/magnet/neon advertisement to several forces of evil. Here’s to investing in lots of Elemental Shields, and I’m sure a host of other protectives. At least I’ve got a Phoenix on my side!

#6. The boys and girls of the Banner of the Crescent Moon. Having virtually the entire membership of Blythedale together was wonderful. From our procession at the beginning of the festival to our combined efforts to save our reputation and defend the lands from Tranquis’s forces, we worked so well together! I mean, except for the Grand Melee. What was THAT?! (awkward face)

#7. The feast! I hope everyone enjoyed attending it as much as we enjoyed serving it. The decorations, food, and music all combined for what I felt was a very immersive evening. I remember looking out at all of the smiling people in the tavern and struggling to actually see the tavern itself. Thank you to everyone in blue and white for pitching in, and for everyone who aiding in cleaning it up!

#8. Whispering Wind? More like Screaming Tornado. My thanks to Collin for something amazing that I can’t share with anyone…yet. ;)

#9. Being promoted to Lord Captain. Khorwyn was quite anti-Ducal forces in his early adventuring years, so to be stepping into a military leadership position is definitely a testament to the maturation of the character. Now, on to recruiting a strike team…

#10. Espionage! My thanks to Mike and Heidi for building a plot full of subterfuge, legerdemain, and other sneaky subtleties in which I could participate. I’ll need to pass the torch along to less publicly responsible parties for now, but it’s been a great ride!

Well, that’s all for now! I will see all of you in September, when I join the Dark Side once more… (cackling)

-Getting to see Anastasia (aka Lhasa) again. Really, I could end the list here. This made my weekend.

-Coming back to HQ, my first chapter

-Getting to meet the new duke, unfortunately while drunk. Way to make a new first impression.

-Chasing the kobold that killed Lhasa around the camp, bellowing about the things I would do to him. For some inexplicable reason me, the 35 year old, fat *** who has broken several bones couldn’t keep up with the 20 year old former track star. Amazing! Lol

-Demanding the same kobold be Lifed when I caught up to him after the town had been taken down and the great RP that followed. Ahurak knows just how to short circuit Cedric’s fledgling dark side inclinations…

-Qualin’s assault charge (and the accompanying quote during the act “Did you really think this would go differently?”)

-Watching the honor duel. Cedric didn’t care about either participant, but Hoyce loved watching it.

-Amaratnus/Bill after the duel. That was an awesome and epic speech!

-Duke Nevin’s “**** You” to the Ordo Aurum.

-Elf time down by the river.

-Deciding that since Blythedale was all asleep when Scarn returned that we should just slide a platinum under their door with a note attached (note’s contents to be either “Tell the bitch to run faster next time” or “Because **** you, that’s why”)

-Destroying Tranquis. I’m not sure if Plot intended for him to be ended that day. If not, and we just stumbled into it, my hat cannot be off to plot enough for allowing the PC’s to end the Big Bad early because they thought of it.

-Caveat to above. Don’t kill Lhasa or House Nemesis will end you.

-RP with Av. If the poor guy is intimidated by Cedric it’s really a good thing we didn’t have Ahurak or Scarn talk to him instead…

-RP with Tom as the Jade Skeleton (whom we’ve decided shall forever more be called Spanky). What an interesting concept for a villain!

-That’s all I can think of off the top of my head right now, but I had a lot of fun! If money and rides can be procured I’d love to come back more than I’ve been able to lately!!

-Hoyce

First and foremost, Anastasia in the HOUSE! Seeing Lhasa again was incredible. I would have liked to have spent more time interacting with you, so please come back!

Kyle's "Bandit mod" That is all.

Susie Lee. Susie is just straight up awesome. Her resurrection song was a thing of beauty. Being out there at night watching her ressurrect Vox (Bandits got him) was just too amazing for words.

Amaranthus vs. Sir Balloch. You really got the sense that this was a big moment, and then following that up with Ulthoc getting elevated to Count. I felt like I was a part of an unfolding saga.

Wacthing the Grand Melee. "Count Ulthoc, while you were attending his Grace Huleen was eliminated from the melee. The good news is it took the entire field to do it."

Justin Freakin' Coggin! Yeah I know it's not your middle name, but Sir you are indeed incredible. Every time I interact with one of your characters I love the game even more. Thank you brother.

Damn, this was an awesome event.
First off, THANK YOU NPCs!!!! You guys were amazing all weekend.

1: Ulthac getting made Count.

2: Espionage mod with Khorwyn and Dorian.

3: The Tournament. I didn't really expect to win the dueling, but the Grand Melee was awesome!

4: *Someone watching the Melee after I took down Tvard* "Holy ****! What the hell was that?"
*Someone from Icenia* "Yea, you've never seen Huleen fight before, have you?"

5: Shiv fight.

6: Amaranthus vs. Sir Balloch. The tension in the air was incredible.

7: Hanging out with the Gilded Claw. Fantastic food, and a new group of companions. "No.. No..."

8: Hopping fence to wrap up Sejanus, and the awesome roleplay when he was captured.

9: Samuel mod. My mind was blown several times.

10: Dividing up mod treasure between 4 non-materialistic people. "Of all the things I don't want, this is was I guess I could use the most... Maybe?"

Okay, so now that my wee-one is down for the ngiht, I thought of a few more I missed.

~ Breakfast with the starving people of Falkirk (sp?). I was worried I would lose a finger if I reached for something. You guys were either THAT hungry, or did really well playing at it!

~ Spider-in-my-tights dance. Most missed this one, and the few around the smokers area who DID see, I tried convincing I was pulling my leggings up, but: Standing around chatting to Angel, Chris, Dave, Bill, Justin, Jamie, ect. at the "Smokers Guild" and I feel what I think to be something crawling up the back of my leg in my tights. I SPRANG into the air, then jumped around in a strange-hopping-dont-you-dare-bite-me-in-the-*** dance to get it out. But come to find out later that night, there was indeed a spider in my leggings, and as I was changing into my PJs he took his chance to run away before I could squish him.......Damn spiders trying to cop a feel. Humph. :pinch:

~ Late night "girly" talk with Kida. Jamie, I <3 you so so much! We are both laying in bed in the wee hours of the morning Saturday night into Sunday, when Dell asks Kida into the dark.... "So.... do you LIKE Brendan? Like, would you "LIKE LIKE" him?" Which had us both erupt with laughter, followed by Dell saying, " Ya know, for how badly I was shaking in my armor from terror when Jailes arrived, he has such a "bad-boy" smile!". And this continues for about an hour before we both passed out.

~ Being Blood Wine and Fudge Drunk for both Saturday night wave battles...... And getting to RP the hangover the next morning, complete with the "hair of the dog at bit you" remedy.

~ Girly-Time in Zatarinas rooms as Kida, Zat and Dell all prepared for the Ball together. Heidi, thank you so much for helping me with my outfit. Duffy, thanks for lacing me into, and out of, my corsets all weekend!!

I think that's it. Who knows? This whole event was crazy super epic for me!!
