February Pre-Pay

I can now confirm that you're going to get one more Iowan for game. Mind you, I'll be coming via Texas. :D

Pre-reg will be forthcoming once some character card issues are ironed out.

Also, important question : What's the tavern like out there? Do we need to make plans for a grocery store run on the way to site? Are there showers on-site?

The kitchen's fully stocked appliance-wise, but not food-wise. So, a grocery store run would be advsiable if something other than pine cones and ferns is desired. Oh, or bark. We also have tree bark on site.

And there are showers, which have the capability to get very, very hot.

There are four sets of bunk beds per cabin, and they are metal framed with springs and matresses. Some people in the past, either for numbers reasons or RP reasons have dragged matresses in from other cabins not being used and slept on the floors in there as well.

Please be aware that most cabins in the Adventurer's Quarter are currently are "owned" IG by either PC's or by other parties. Arranging sleeping space is of paramount importance.

So, for the normal cabin, sleeps 8 more-or-less comfortably.

You can generally fit more if you really want to.

Personally, I find chairs to be fantastic.

Ah, so you guys don't run an actual tavern, just have a place to cook in. Dually noted. In that case, is there any reason why one would not be allowed to cook and sell it in-game? Not that I know anyone with a ton of relevant craftsman skills...

No real reason, there's a group that does it already. There is a sizable eating area with tables and chairs in front of the kitchen itself, and they're quite seperated by walls and doors and solid objects, so its not quite just a kitchen.

Though if you're planning to sell some food IG, I'd suggest getting people confirmed before hand, at least OOG-wise.

Pre-Pay list has been updated.

Seriously, pre-pay closes in a few days, and I know that I've talked to plenty of people who already know that they're going.
Get it in!

I sent in my pre-payment thingy today. Hopefully it's not too late and you received it? :(

Pre-Pay is now Closed

Got it.
Pre-payment is now closed. The price for the event is now $80 for those people who pre-register by February 1st, payable at the door, or $90 at the door otherwise. Remember that to retain the Early-payment price that you must still pre-register by February 1st. The Early-Pay list on the first page is currently up-to-date.
Thank you to everyone who took advantage of the early-payment system, your payments help us reserve new sites farther in advance.

Hey, question. It looks like theres a chance I may not be able to PC, due to some logistics problems and all of my gear except my prosthetics being stuck elsewhere. Would you guys have use for me as an NPC if they're not straightened out by game time? I'm stuck with the plane ticket anyway, and I've wanted to get up to that part of the world for a while now.

I am sure that anyone wanting to NPC will be snatched up quickly by plot

If it's just a matter of armour/weapons not making it, we can hook ya up when ya get here. Not that we can't always use more NPC's but loaners are not a problem.

We would love to have you as an npc! We will have lots of stuff for you to do, and lots of PC butt for you to kick =)

Hold up Kiefer!

If you make it up... I got spare gear that will fit you and I can whip up a set of Horns + Ears from NPC camp to bring with us...

I know people are going to bring extra Polearms so you could... stil play?

Paul

( sorry to try to steal him from NPCing I just havent gotten to PC with this guy in almost 3 yrs.

Horns and ears I have. My armor is in Iowa, though, and that polearm was JC's. If the other stuff doesn't get straightened out, at the very worst I'll throw together a brand new character for this event.

I encourage you to steal him back to PCing, so no worries. NPCing is great and all, but if I was going to fly all the way to another chapter, I would want to PC, hands down.

List has been updated with a new category: "Pre-Paid at Pre-Registration Price."
If you would like, you may still pay early, but you won't receive the Early-Pay price. The Pre-Pay price is $80 with pre-registration. This option is primarily for those who would rather pay by Credit/Debit/Paypal and don't want to have to remember to have cash/check on them at logistics.
