I normally intoxicate the food my character carries. Suddenly that is some DAMN good fruit.

if you do want to put an intoxicate in someone's food how do you do that in game??? do you tape the orange tag to their cup?

Depends a lot on the chapter.

Some places will want the tag taped to the cup or plate, some places are ok with you doing the "put the poison in it" motion over the food and catching the eye of a marshal while you do it.

You should ask your local rulesy type people.

The eye catch of a marshall is cool in Traverse. Not sure how others do it. I almost always forget tape too.

Some places will also just let you get away with slipping the tag under the food/drink receptacle.
