My last few weeks of research into the armor that we discovered in Fort Mirkworth have proven fruitful! Some of you may recall that when identified, the armor did not have any magical properties, but the way that the siege constructs were intent on its recovery for the Loyalists, I was certain there had to be more sentimental or historical significance to the armor or its crest. It turns out that I was correct.
It appears that the armor in question was actually very old, and is among one of the pieces of regalia worn during Erabellan coronations. Its sigil of a white wolf on a black field is actually a mark of royals from before the Guardian Evoder’s arrival, with this armor (and/or other pieces displaying a similar crest) being donned in the ceremony as a means of paying respect to the times that came before.
However, the most recent queen, Morwen Pennoyer, didn’t end up wearing this particular armor for her coronation, since it did not fit her more slender female body. Therefore, the armor was put in storage decades ago, and through some shifting around, was apparently misplaced and lost in the storage chambers under Fort Mirkworth. I do not know or believe that this exact armor is critical to the coronation process -- there may be others that can serve the same purpose -- but in any case, I will keep an eye on it.
Regardless, I think the implications of the Loyalists seeking it out is clear: they are attempting to assemble everything they can for a “proper” coronation ceremony for a new Erabellan royal. That said, our conjectures that the Loyalists have a potential candidate for the throne are looking even more likely, and since they were seeking this particular armor rather than that which Morwen Pennoyer used for the coronation, I would hazard a guess that their candidate is an adult male in order to be the proper size to wear the armor in question.

If anyone else has discovered anything of use to the adventurers or the Freedom Coalition, I would advise sharing what you know for all to learn.
