¿Would you say the idea was feather-brained?

You guys read posts about a dinner at HQ where you don't play? Too much free time, my friends.

Lemon chicken w/ white rice sounds flippin great. If I can afford it I would love to donate some frozen veggie mixes. Mmmm! Bill, thanks again for helming food commitee stuff!

Justin

Any chance there'll be anything veggie-friendly? :)

I voted for lemon chicken, but if Stir Fry was an option I'd have voted for that.

Stir fry can be veggie friendly, or with addition of chicken happy for the carnivores too.

Yes, there will be a vegi option, I just havn't finalised the options. I suspect stir fry over rice if lemon chicken wins. Not sure what if pot pie wins. I will of course come up with something.

Bill,

If you end up going the lemon chicken route, I think I could probably obtain some gluten-free, vegetarian chicken for you to use for that stir fry you mentioned. Yes/no?

Yes, and I'll likely take that as the vegi option for pot pie as well. Email alliancehqfood@gmail.com and we will talk quantity.

There is no such thing as vegetarian chicken. It does not exist.

At best, it's vegetarian chicken substitute.

Don't get me wrong, I like tofu and other similar things. I eat them. But let's not pretend they're something they're not.

I agree, but I'm not about to pop the bubble of the "bad hunters" when I need donations.

Hey, I'm all for a vegetarian choice. I support it 100%. But let's call a soy product a soy product (or whatever it is). Hell, we drink soy milk at home.

I like the part where we argue semantics when someone is offering donations.

I like that part too Maggie. ;)

I'm just teasing. Please take it as such.

Scott

And I blame tofurkey on my attitude towards disguised soy products. Even the vegans I know joke about tofurkey.
