The new Bulletin Board

Those are people who have their login settings as "Hidden". Admins can see those people, along with others given appropriate access to see Hidden logins.

And I'm a fan of these forums because i was able to post after less than 5 minutes for registration. As opposed to still waiting for activation after about 15 months on one name and 2 months on a second... urgh...
 
I must say I'm glad that people have the option to choose a setting that is most comfortable for them. :)

But yes as Mike V said I think that the prosilver is a nice neutral style that is easy on the eyes.

Under User Control Panel, you select Profile and then Edit Avatar.

Looks like the forums are currently set to only link to off-site images, so no uploading to this... have to link to one on Photobucket and the like.
 
Mike,

The mail function is now working. You can now set registrations to be verified via email by the user. I would recommend waiting on this for a few more days until more old members have had a chance to re-register without the extra step, just makes it easier.

But eventually you should set registration to user verified. It helps cut down on spam and porn bots.

Is the "quick reply" function available on all the board styles? If it's on black pearl I'm missing it.
 
Dunno... its basically a link on the bottom of the topic next to the postreply button... it pops open a window on the bottom of the page that you can reply in.

Yeah, I saw that on the prosilver, but not on this one. I thought since many of the other functions are moved around maybe it was just someplace I wasn't looking, but it might not actually be here. Am I the only wierdo that likes Black Pearl?
 
I have mine on Black Pearl as well. The other ones are so washy and uninteresting its my only choice. :mrgreen: And, as you pointed out earlier Ezri-- it matches the Alliance logo... which isn't at the top just some bird thing (in this skin). interesting.
 
I think it is because they are not really skins per se... so its not just overlayed on the info...

I love the black pearl scheme. I've always been a fan of websites with black backgrounds and bright lettering.

Only on pro-silver. It's a mod, and it only had modifications for prosilver. It's possible to put it on all the others, but I haven't found the info on how to do it yet.

And it shouldn't just be a link at the bottom of prosilver, it should be an image just like the post reply button, but I must have messed something up when I installed the mod!
 
it is not an image... its just a html style link...

no fancy images for quick reply...

Can somoene tell me how to sticky a post? I can only figure out how to lock, merge and move. I need to be able to sticky on the Ohio OOG boards.

Open the thread you want to do it to, there should be a drop down menu at the bottom with those options.
