This is boring...

Actually we were going to, once upon a time, use the scroll to try and get Flatdog's body off the Plane of Chaos. We were disuaded, and now it's just kinda sittin there waiting to go poof.

I have made my share of mistakes in my life, of that have no doubt. It is through mistakes and learning from them that we actually become wise. Knowledge is bred from intelligence, wisdom is bred from experience. If I am so wise, it is only from the mistakes I have made or seen others make.

You truly think I cannot understand the pain the mark caused? That it is more than I would ever know? I suffered from a sentient celestial mark which grew in strength as it caused pain, grief or anger. Which in turn caused more potent pain, due to its very celetial nature. I think I know that pain more than you will ever accept.

We all have the ability to become more than our family lines, more than our heritage, and more than our upbringing. You speak as if no one ever had faith in you, no one ever believed you were on the road to redemption. It is often the words of our critics which ring clearest in our memories. I had faith in you. I had hope for you. I remember when we met; you and your guard dog. It was not that long ago. I saw the mark, I heard your story, and I had hope for you that you would become more than that one act. By your own words in your dreams, and your actions two moons ago I fear my faith may have been mistaken.

Honor and duty,

Necromancy is a choice. Choices have consequences. Sometimes the consequences exceed the initial offense, but Necromancy is no such case. The lot of a necromancer is to be eternally distrusted, redemption is NOT possible. I'm sorry to have to break this to you necromancers out there, but if you are convicted of Necromancy you'd be best advised to stay near the nobles, who CAN'T kill you because the laws of most kingdoms are shortsighted and over-lenient. You WILL be hunted and killed by people who otherwise are quite heroic. Necromancy is a death sentence followed by paranoia as you wait for another string of deaths you won't remember before your spirit finally gives up and doesn't come back.

And what do you call necromancy Lorgwut? What makes you the judge of intent? The rightfull executioner of your own brand of justice?

I'm curious... not trying to offend you but perhaps stir your mind to something else.

Never said it would be me. If a convicted necromancer ends up dead the yellow people are the first ones questioned. That rant was directed at anyone who thinks that the adventuring community will EVER forgive or accept someone who used such magic. They won't. I don't worry about necromancers who decide to stay in society afterwards, I know any number of otherwise quite chivalrous people who will take care of that problem in their own way without any help from me. I focus my efforts on those who don't think they'll be caught. It's more sporting.
