What Makes a good Chapter?

To bring this back on track:

An overall storyline that is interesting and engrossing

Atmosphere that supports suspension of disbelief - good costuming, make up, phys reps, decorations etc.

A good mix of combat and roleplay encounters every event

Helpful and friendly staff in every area

Consistency in rules and marshaling

Players (both NPC and PC) who understand that everyone is here to have a good time, that the staff is entirely volunteer based.
 
always offer the rule book for sale at the events...that way brandy new NPCs can read through it if its their first time ever laying eyes on LARPing and can read up on stuff while waiting for a character to go play ya know?
